[Dale]

Series Pilot: Sonic The Hedgehog
Episode: The Tower

Sonic is seen lying in a bed.. Yes, a bed. He gets up and walks outside, where the sun is shining brightly. He stretches out.

Sonic: Looks like it'll be a great day today.

The land starts to get dark and the sun is now covered.

Sonic: Wha...

Dr. Robotnik is seen laughing from his tower.

Sonic: Oh. Him.

Tails runs over to Sonic.

Tails: Hey Sonic! What's going on?

Sonic points to Robotnik.

Tails: Huh?

Tails looks over.

Tails: Oh....

Sonic: Yep. And it's up to us to save the world.

Tails: Us? Why us?

Sonic: Because we're cooler! Now let's go!

Tails: Um, OK, whatever...

The title appears in really big letters 'The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog'

Tails follows Sonic to Dr. Robotnik's tower.

Sonic: Dr. Robotnik, I need to talk to you!

Dr. Robotnik: About what?

Sonic: Well, your tower is really tall and is blocking my garden, and I really want my plants to---

A beam of light hits Sonic and sends him flying.

Sonic: Ow... That hurt!

Dr. Robotnik: It was supposed to! Now get outta here!

Sonic gets up and walks away. He goes back to where he lives and sits outside. He looks at Robotnik's tower in disgust and just keeps looking. While he's staring trying to find something to stop him--Sally comes over.

Sally: Hi Sonic, what's going on? Why's it dark?

Sonic: Because Dr. Robotnik over there decided to build his tower to block the sun.

Sally: Oh... Yeah, that'd do it.

Sonic: Sure would, because it did.

Sally: Well I found something that may help you.

Sonic: What'd you find?

Sally: Follow me.

Sonic gets up and walks over to where Sally lives. He walks into her house and she shows him a portal of sorts. They go through it into another dimension. When they get through there are a bunch of different colored crystals high in the air. Sonic looks up at them in awe.

Sonic: They're beautiful. What are they?

Sally: Those are the Chaos Emeralds. They give you the power to be faster and stronger. They're great.

Sonic: You're telling me.

I like it. The show seems very light hearted, and though I never really followed Sonic, I will follow this.
