Series Pilot: Future Priest

FADE IN:
Fade in from the sky, pass the clouds, until we can see the top of a Megalopolis. In the middle, is the Vatican of Rome. The city is futuristic. Round cars that can fly, Robots doing everyday task, kids on hover boards, etc.
Narrarator
As time advances, so does everything else.Our faith, and our society can grow drastically.
We see shots of a black president, shot of an Arabian women Leader, and shots of Jews and Muslims shaking hands ad living together.
For 100 years we fought. It started in 2012. We don't know if it was just a coincidence, or if that year had been set in stone to be one of chaos.
We see billions of men at war. Also, we see very subtle advancements in technology.
When all seemed lost, he arrived.
We see Jesus coming down from heaven.
The war was over, and a new age of peace was here. A new capital of Earth was set, in the Vatican. Democracy was the main government of every country. Ah yes, and technology.
We see alien arriving to earth.
The E.T'S said we weren't primitive anymore, and they could help us in our quest for Technological perfection. We acquired Robots capable of independent thought. Teleportation, flying cars,
We see the technological advancements as he tells them to us.
And, time travel.....
The camera moves into a portal, and it makes you feel like you are in it also. The portal finally ends on the face of our main character, future priest. He is in a waiting room. He takes out a cigarrete.
FUTUREPRIEST
Light.
The cigarette lights itself at the words. In the other room, we can hear many men talking. Future priest is sick of waiting, so he barges in.
POPE
Father Dass, I thought we said we would fetch for you.
The pope has a familiar voice, he was the narrator.
FATHER DASS
Yeah, well I was getting anxious.
BISHOP
You smoke?
FATHER DASS
I'm sorry, "Light out", I'll save it for later.
POPE
I'm not a man for waiting, Dass, so I'm going to cut right to the chase.
FATHER DASS
I'm all ears your holy one.
POPE
We have been discussing the past.
FATHER DASS
Why?
POPE
We have been informed, through our spies, that priest in the past are becoming, how can I say this.
BISHOP #2
Evil?
POPE
Yes, yes, evil.
FATHER DASS
How so?
POPE
Kids. They are hurting the children.
FATHER DASS
You mean sexua-
POPE

FATHER DASS

You are the only priest with combat experience. Only you could do this.

Then a less qualified man goes back, and the world as we know it turns upside-down. Chaos, pain, and suffering wil reign.
FATHER DASS
Looks around at everyone. What will I take?
POPE
You will take this watch, it will serve as your teleportation system. We will also give you these.
We see a table full gadgets that make James Bond look like a caveman.
So, do you accept?
FATHER DASS
Yes, for the people. But what happens if -
In a been of light, he dissapears into the portal. He flies through it, and eventually arrives on a street, in modern day, his gadgets in a nice silver box.
FATHER DASS

All of a sudden--a voice appears from his watch.
VOICE
Watch your language, priest.
FATHER DASS
Who, who are you?
VOICE
I am Bishop Johnathon, I will be your guide. any questions or concerns, you take up with me. I will help you.
FATHER DASS
You will lead me to the demons?
BISHOP JOHNATHON
I can't. You have the last one left.
Father looks at his watch.
BISHOP
That watch will give you radar to determine if any men around you are demons. However, we know of one man who is, you need to kill him, as a test.
FATHER DASS
What happens if I run out of technology?
BISHOP JOHNATHON
Don't worry we sent someone.
The voice dissapears. Dass looks at his watch--it's leading him straight to the man.
FATHER DASS
Here goes nothing.
He presses a button, and he is teleported to outside a church. He looks around, but can't find anyone suspicious. But them, a man walks into the church. Dass looks at his watch, and he knows this is his target. He walks behind him--presses a button on his watch, and becomes invisible. The man does not bless himself with water--he only pretends to.
MINISTER
The word of the lord.
PEOPLE
Thanks be to God.
The man sits in the back bench, and kneels. Dass, who is invisible, reaches over the bench, trying not to make a sound, and breaks the mans neck. Nobody notices the dead man at first, but Dass runs scared. He can't believe he killed a man. As he is running out, he can hear a women scream. He finally goes into an alley to hide.
FATHER DASS
I just killed someone! How could I!
A squeaky, nerdy voice appears from behind him.
VOICE
Its you, your the future priest!
FATHER DASS
Who are you and how do you know who I am?
VOICE
My name is Doyle.
FATHER DASS
I asked you a second question...
DOYLE
Pushes up his taped glasses on his nose.
Press the red button on your watch, it will take you to my place.
FATHER DASS
Why should I poindexter?
DOYLE
You sound like the other kids. I thought you were a priest.
FATHER DASS
Looks at him with sympathy--he knows he hurt him.
Fine, I'll press it.
Doyle puts his hand on his shoulder and Dass looks at him with concern.
DOYLE
I'm going too.
Dass presses the button and they dissapear into a beam of light. When they reappear they are in a room full of comics and memorabilia. Dass is unimpressed but he turns around and sees an endless supply of gadgets.
