A BUCKSFAN FILM D E S O L A T I O N EXTENDED DIRECTOR'S CUT
SEE IT APRIL 23, 2010
So after Krew released his successful Halloween 2: Director's Cut (review will be up soon), I thought to myself about my December film "Desolation". I don't think it got the publicity it should have and left viewers with A LOT of unanswered questions. So I am adding on new backstory and twists to produce a 20 minute longer cut of "Desolation".
PLOT: After the sudden loss of her little brother, Donna Fox and her parents decide they need a getaway to take their minds off of the morbid condition they are in. On Halloween weekend, the family takes a trip up to their secluded North Carolina cabin in the woods for two days of hiking, playing cards, and bonding with each other. But what promises to be a carefree weekend soon turns into an utter nightmare when Donna is left alone one night and realizes that what lurks in those desolate woods is something more terrifying than anything imaginable. Experience "Desolation" for yourself and witness Donna's terrifyingly harrowing, yet inspiring plight that will rivet you, scare you, but make you realize that even beyond the deepest, darkest woods, there is always a light.
GENRE: Drama / Thriller / Suspense
APPROX. RUNTIME: 60 Minutes
MPAA RATING: PG-13 - For Some Intense Violence and Frightening Images, Strong Thematic Material, and Brief Language.

I changed the tone, by a lot in the DC so, let's see how it pays off haha. The Theatrical version really is just a cut down version because I wasn't sure if the audience would want to read a film that stands at 140 some pages, but I figured "What the hell?".
