In order to maintain control over "Movie Reels"--I will be enforcing a set of rules that you must all abide to. Failure to follow these simple rules will result in account suspension, loss of privileges and possible ban/deletion.

- Don't be a dick: This is the most important rule of all. We try to maintain a fun atmosphere here, and dicks ruin that. Examples of dickery include making fun of other users for little reason other than their mere presence, insulting their films without writing reviews or offering any constructive criticism, and making annoying threads in inappropriate boards advertising your films and TV shows. I won't tolerate racial remarks, homophobia or anything else that you can think of. There's having fun and making jibes with friends but there's a line and I'm asking you not to cross it. Just use some common sense on what is and what isn't acceptable.
- Reporting Members/Fighting: We do not expect a utopian website where no fights occur, but please try not to pick fights for little to no reason. If a once valid argument descends into mere flaming, members involved will be warned and possibly banned for a length of time based on the gravity of what has been said. Obviously disagreements are gonna happen, just try to keep things constructive without resorting to insulting the other persons intelligence because it gets us nowhere fast.
- Chat Box: Impersonating other users in the chatbox is allowed, but you must adhere to some guidelines. You are not allowed to imitate members with the sole purpose of insulting them or hurting their feelings; you may poke playful jabs at them by satirising their personality, but only if your relationship with the member in question is at a point where they would be comfortable with this. Going to extreme lengths to convince other members you are somebody other than yourself is also banned; imitations should be satirical and exaggerated so that there is no confusion.
- Film Preview Threads: Try to keep announcements and any other information pertaining to your films in the Official Preview Thread. We've had these types of announcements be posted in the marketing board and the same information be put in the lounge and god knows where else. I want to try and keep the board as tidy as possible, so if you have any updates, make sure to keep them to a singular thread so we don't end up with a ton of topics all about the same thing.
- Cine-Plex Threads: Ok, we're trying something new, without the Box Office system and all that jazz. And with that, comes a few changes to the way we do things. You can now post your own movies in the Cine-Plex board. I'm gonna ask you to please but the release date of the film in the title like so - "(mm/dd/year)" so we can keep track of what's what. A Mod or Admin will sticky the thread and I'll put it up on the main page. If it's not done within a day or two of the film going up, PM me and I'll get it done. I'm gonna ask that you refrain from making the "Wolfman Released Today" etc. threads and instead post it in the Preview thread for your film or announce it in the Marketing board. I want to reserve the Cine-Plex board for the actual movies and keep it looking clean as possible.
- Do Not Feed Jester: Do not attempt to interact with or feed Jester. You will be hurt.
