I wanted to release "The Comic Shop 2" on the 17th this month, but it doesn't seem that likely. The film is written, but I sent it to a person or two to read it and give me some advice on what to edit, have yet to get said advice back.
I don't want to rush the flick, even though I'm fairly happy with it (but at the same time I was happy with "The Ballad of The Pilgrim" and "Dick Tracy", which were pretty bad) so It'll come out near the end of February. Maybe I'll release it the day Kevin Smith's new flick comes out, for the irony of it (there is sooooo much Kevin Smith ass-kissing [and rip-offing] in CS2).
In better news, I've started up writing a horror movie which is basically Clerks meets Evil Dead. It's mostly an homage to Sam Raimi and I've always been interested in doing a horror flick.
Also, just to through this out there I do have an idea for a filmed film. Haven't a title for it, but basically it's about a avid Dexter fan who attempts to actually murder a serial-killer. It'd be a satire mostly played for laughs (probably alot of poking fun at myself for being an ungodly nerdy Dexter fan). Just like to get your thoughts on it.
In a final piece of good news, I'm working my way up in getting enough cash to get a really nice video-camera so my films don't look like they were shot on a cell-phone.

I actually like your Dexter idea. Thanks. The more I think about the concept, I come up with more brilliant gags to do. It honestly seems like a perfect project for me as a writer/director but wanted to see if anyone was interested in the idea before I shoot the shit and turns out everyone thinks it's crap concept.
