Title: 'Halloween'

Summary: The TV series based off John Carpenter's orginal horror classic will be a long run. The first season will detail Michael Myer's transformation in the asylum and we will not see his escape until the final episode. The second season will introduce Laurie Strode and then it will go into a '24' like mode in which ever epsiode will be a hour of the day.

I am ready for the thrashing but the actors picked do have the talent but have yet to get a role which will allow them to shine.

Pilot will air January 8, 2008.

I love the idea of adapting the movie "Halloween" to a television series. Because I'm a big horror fanatic--I'm definitely interested in seeing how this works out.

I look at it this way. Before "The Dark Knight" began filming--no one took Heath Ledger seriously. A lot of people said he would never top Nicholson's performance and that he wouldn't be able to pull off the role as The Joker. Well being a huge Nicholson fan myself--I have to say that Heath Ledger does seem a lot better than him; for the role as The Joker.

So, in my opinion--as long as you have a cast for your tv series/movies; there is absolutely nothing wrong with what you are doing.

I do not compare Ledger and Nicholon's Joker. Because they are 2 completey differnet Jokers.
