Ok, mixed feelings here.
I'm gonna make this short and sweet cos i'm not particularly good at written reviews.
This short had a hell of a lot of promise. If it has been extended into a full film then it could have seriously rocked.
The dialogue was a touch painful to read in places. The character of Pilgrim really needed extending. What I would say Xplay is remake this as a full feature. It had so many great elements. And just like me, dialogue isnt your strongest point. I struggle with that as well. So I would just use your ability to describe and create loads of visuals. Keep the dialogue to a minimum.
The Outlaws backstory was really interesting actually but I couldnt help but feel that needed to be part of the story.
To sum up, reading this film was like watching a really promising promo for a feature film. Xplay this short shines with potential. Just extend all aspects of it and i'm positive you'll have a really good film here.
