This episode does not follow on from "Connections". After reading through the series ahead of writing the finale, there were more than a few things I wasn't happy with. So I have done some pretty major re-writing, going as far as to add two new episodes between "Fracture" and "Dark Days Ahead". New stuff has been added to both parts of the Pilot, "Fracture" has been re-organized, new episodes "Empire" and "Office Space" features parts from "Fracture"/"Dark Days Ahead" as well as some new things. "Dark Days Ahead" has become significantly different, featuring an entirely new "A" story whilst maintaining some elements from it's original form. I suggest re-reading the episodes mentioned above, or at least "Empire", "Office Space" and "Dark Days Ahead" to keep up with the continuity. Nothing REALLY major has changed and edits could probably be picked up on. but I'd imagine you'd be missing out on some stuff.
Plot
John Smith wakes up in a hotel room with a mystery woman, presumably after a one night stand. John makes it his mission for the day to find out who the woman is and how he knows her. Meanwhile, the Retrievers prepare for Lyra Liddell's arranged meeting with John.
