Here is the first teaser for my secretive project, "Desolation", opening Friday, December 18th. The workprint was recently screened at my a local high school film festival and I am happy to say, it got largely positive reactions from the audience.

Looks really good.
My school had a film festival. It was really lame. I think one group made a sort of macabre horror film and they got in trouble for trying to enter it. I never heard what it was about, but apparently it offended some teachers. Ridiculous, eh?
I only mention it because the trailer says it's rated R. How did that go over with whoever was running the festival?

hahaha nice teachers are sooo lame. At the film fest, I had to cut a couple scenes that were a bit bloody but this one is NOT an all out gore movie at all. it focuses on suspense and the meaningfulness. It has the terror and feeling of isolation like "The Strangers" and "The Shining" and it has a meaning to it like "Signs". I'm not gonna let out a lot of detals though. I want to keep it as secret as possible. That way it will be more scary.

The synopsis sounds like "Antichrist" without the genital mutilation.
