(Screen fades in showing Manhattan on the Hudson River)
(A voice is heard, while the camera pans toward the city)
(The voice narrarates)
Lynd: It was supposed to be my time...my good time...The kids were just supposed to come up and visit, before I had to leave...Things sometimes have a funny way of not going the way they should...
(The camera jolts to a bright screen. It then quickly cuts to several shots that flash across)
(A shot of people evacuating. A shot of buildings collapsing. A shot of a man shooting a gun. A shot of lighting striking. A shot of a car speeding down a highway. A shot of a wide crack in the ground)
(The screen quickly cuts to black)
(The voice comes back)
Lynd: At this point, I know not of what is happening. But I have to stop it nevertheless....
(The screen cuts to several more images, but there is no sound. In between each image there is a quick fade in, and fade out. During the fade ins and outs, you can hear a subtle heartbeat)
(A shot of a car collapsing into a crack. A shot of a woman on a payphone. A shot of news reports on a television. A shot of a nuclear explosion, and the shockwave rushes toward the camera)
(Screen cuts to black)
(White letters start to fad in...)
