Danforth: Order! Mrs. Hale, you have been accused of witchcraft. How will you plead?
Mrs. Hale: Not guilty, Excellency.
(The scene cuts to girls dancing in the woods. Abigail Williams cause chicken blood to fly all over the area.)
Abigail: I wish death upon Goody Proctor. Then me and John can live happily.
(The scene cuts to Tituba being whipped by Reverend Parris.)
Tituba: I swear I didn't do it!
VO: In a time of fear. In a time of peril.
(The scene cuts to Betty Parris lying on her bed. Reverend Parris is kneeled over her, praying.)
VO: We have nowhere to turn.
(Cut to Reverend Hale and John Proctor looking upon the court.)
VO: Except to accuse.
(Cut to the girls saying random names as accusations of witchcraft.)
VO: Based on Arthur Miller's play.
(Fade to black.)

(The Crucible comes onto the screen. Below it, text comes up, reading: 2008.)
