EGame has released a very short teaser trailer for his upcoming Heath Ledger biopic titled 'Not Afraid' which is due out this Summer.
Directed by EGame; EGame Entertainment's logo flashes across the screen.
We see real footage of Heath Ledger's body being wheeled out of his SoHo apartment with cameras flashing left, right and center.
We then cut to Heath playing with baby Matilda on a swing set.HEATH LEDGER: "I feel good about dying now, because I feel like I'm alive in her..." We then see flashes of footage of Heath with Michelle Williams, playing with Matilda and finishing with a shot of his SoHo apartment with police cars and curious onlookers frantically asking what happened. They got an answer..ONLOOKER: "EXCUSE ME OFFICER! What happened here?" NYPD OFFICER: "Heath Ledger has been pronounced dead." Nathan Phillips is Heath Ledger.
Ellen Page is Michelle Williams.'NOT AFRAID' |

I am sorry but I think this is too early and the casting just offends me. I was real sick over the whole thing (threwup 2 times, cried for and hour). I think it would be alright to decidate a film too him, but make a film about him, only a few weeks after his death? That is sick and I am personally offended (I never get offended by stuff like this normally)

I don't think Ellen Page should be in it, and perhaps it's still a bit too early.
I'm not really offended, because I know that you are wanting to give justice to who Heath Ledger was. But for many people, it could still be a bit early.

I don't know, really. Not being a fan of the Batman series (not that I don't like it, just wasn't into it), I didn't really know much about Heath Ledger. Nevertheless, I was very sad when I heard about his death. I then realized all the brilliant acting he'd done, but I just never realized it was him.
I guess that might have something to do with me not being too opposed to this really. I don't really have an opinion on the issue, and I'll probably see the movie.
And it won't be weeks after his death, it will be released in summer-that's a long way off.

That is sick and I am personally offended (I never get offended by stuff like this normally) I am sorry if you are 'personally offended', but I feel that my best work will come from writing this film. The casting of Nathan Phillips was inspired by Carter, and he was on the money. The casting of Ellen Page was more or less to bring her through as a big time actress who is versatile in roles. If you're so against the film, I have no objections with you completely ignoring the whole thing. Just try to avoid the topics and we'll be A-OK. I am just about the biggest Ledger fan there is (I have a lot of people who can back that up), and I will do my darnedest to never incriminate Heath's name or what he was about. This film will be written with the upmost respect for Ledger and his family. |

Are you going to talk about how he was a drug addict through out the years and the official cause of death is Acute Intoxication through the abuse of prescription drugs?
