Note: This whole trailer is from the point of view of a handheld video camera, operated by a tourist. However, the film will not be like this.
We fade to a shot of a bustling Metropolis street. It is packed with cars, and the air is filled with the sound of shouting and car horns. Tourist turns the camera towards his Girlfriend, who laughs and tries to push it away.
Girlfriend
Come on, you know I hate cameras.
Tourist
We come all the way to Metropolis and you don't even want to be on the tape?
Girlfriend
(Smiling)
As a matter of fact, I don't.
Tourist turns the camera to show an intersection. It is empty, despite the streets leading to it being packed.
Girlfriend
Why isn't anybody moving?
Tourist
I don't know, it loos like there's a problem with the traffic li-
He is interrupted by a large object speeding towards the ground and impacting with the intersection, creating a massive crater. Dust, ash and smoke fills the air as people scream, getting out of their cars to run away. Tourist begins to run towards the crater.
Tourist
(Shouting)
Good thing there was nobody there, that meteor would have splattered them all the way back to Gotham!
Girlfriend
(Shouting)
Where are you going?
Tourist
(Shouting)
There's no way I'm missing this!
Tourist pushes his way past the fleeing masses. He slows down as he gets nearer to the crater. The sound of a struggle comes from within it.
Tourist
What the hell...
He points the camera over the edge of the crater.
Tourist
Oh my God!
Below, around twenty metres below street level, Batman and Superman exchange blows. They both appear fatigued and weak, their costumes torn and bloodied. Superman punches Batman hard across the face with an echoing THWACK, stunning his opponent. He then grabs Batman and flies into the sky with him. Tourist aims the camera at the amazing sight. Superman is now just a dot in the sky. Suddenly, the dot separates into two. Batman comes tumbling towards the camera. Superman has dropped him. Tourist screams. Just before Batman hits the camera, we cut to black.
