The screen is black.
Andrew Ryan (V.O.) Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow?
We fade to a fast panning shot of the ocean floor. This stretch of floor is particularly rocky, an underwater cliff.
Andrew Ryan (V.O.) 'No!' says the man in Washington, 'It belongs to the poor.' 'No!' says the man in the Vatican, 'It belongs to God.' 'No!' says the man in Moscow, 'It belongs to everyone.' I rejected those answers; instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose...
The camera reaches the crest of the cliff and as it moves over it, we see a breathtaking underwater city, comprised of dozens of huge skyscrapers, connected by tunnels. Whales, giant squids and shoals of fish swim through the city.
Andrew Ryan (V.O.) Rapture!
We fade to black.
Atlas (V.O.) Would you kindly?
Bioshock
Coming Soon

That was so random and awesome it blew my load. Although if I played the game it'd make more sense.

I am delaying Captain Scarlet 2 until I finish this. I am having trouble motivating myself to carry on with CS2, so I think a nice break from it will do the trick. This will hopefully be out in late April or early May, and then Captain Scarlet 2 will follow in June.
Also, if you're not going to have played the game by the time this comes out, DO NOT READ A PLOT SUMMARY. Seriously, you deserve to see the plot with fresh eyes.

CB, I am going to my local video-store tonight. I got a 360, should I rent the game? Is it fun?

It is one of the best games I have ever played, so yes, rent it It's fairly short, so you'll almost definitely finish it in the rental time. Tell me what you think of it Also, while this won't make much sense until you play it: Rescue the Little Sisters, do not harvest them. The short term benefits from harvesting them are out weighed by the long term benefits from saving them.

I heard Bioshock was a crap fest. I'm gonna try the demo now for the PC.

Well, not officially. It's by the same developers, but under a different publisher. They've described it as a 'spiritual sequel'.

Well, I guess it must be a love it or hate it game, but it's definitely at least worth giving the demo a spin.

Dude. This movie looks awesome. Should I watch the film before playing the video game? I'm getting a 360 with my next paycheck, so...

If you have the option available, you should play the game before watching the film.
