FADE IN:
Batman is standing on top of a building holding two lighted flares in his outstretched hands.
THERE WAS A TIME WHEN HE WAS FORGIVING. EVEN MERCIFUL.
Cut to a large aircraft (the Bat-Wing) descending from the sky.
BUT THIS SUMMER…
Cut to a bomb going off inside an elevator shaft. Cut to Batman crashing through a hotel window.
SOMETHING WILL PUSH HIM OVER THE EDGE.
Cut to police rushing into a hotel lobby, led by Lt. Gordon. Cut to Batman tying his prisoner (Alexander Drake) to a chair. Cut to people gathering in the street and looking up. The voice of the stalker narrates.
STALKER:
I’ve been following this guy for three days. If I die, and someone finds this tape, there’s just one thing I want everyone to know…
Cut to the stalker character speaking into a tape recorder.
STALKER:
I went in there to save Batman.
The trailer reaches its climax. Cut to the stalker running across the street. Cut to two guards running into a hotel room with their guns. Cut to Batman standing behind the chair he’s tied Drake to, holding a razor sharp bat symbol-shaped boomerang to Drake’s throat as a bright light shines on both of them.
Cut to black.
