The first teaser for my new film Eleanor Rigby. This is the first of 3 trailers that will be released before the film. This is the dramatic trailer. If you watch "Comic Shop" when it releases you will see the comedic trailer. Closer to the August 15th release I will post the third and final trailer. Enjoy.
Rated PG-13 for Language and Adult content
CAST:
ANNASOPHIA ROBB as ELEANOR RIGBY
SAM ROCKWELL as MARTIN
TIMOTHY HUTTON as CARL
RYAN REYNOLDS as THOMAS
EMILY DESCHANEL as NATALIE
CLORIS LEACHMAN as JOAN
More to be announced later...
ELEANOR exits the plane to see her large family waiting for her. The grandma, Joan, holds an absurdly large sign that reads:
CARL and his father, JAMES, driving down a snowy street.
Inside the families kitchen as a large meal is being consumed. Most of the family, with the exception of a few are taking part in a heated argument. Brinking on violent.
Eleanor stares into space as the yelling fades out.
FLASHBACK. B&W.
Eleanor, in what looks to be the streets of Italy. She is a few years younger. She and her mother pick some different fruits from a sidewalk store. They look happy.
In the family room Eleanor sits down at the dusty piano, everyone urging her to play.
She begins "Let it Be" by the Beatles. After a few seconds we quickly cut to the middle of the song, the especially emotional part.
It plays over a shot at a cemetery. The family is all there, watching a coffin being lowered into a grave.
Last shot is of Eleanor, watching her mother being lowered into the ground.
