FADE IN:
Space. An infinite nothingness. Just stars.
A ship floats lifelessly toward an unkown planet.
We cut the planet, the ship enters the planets atmoshere and streaks across the sky.
It Crashes, into a valley of jagged rocks.
Fog rolls over everything and the ship is almost lost in it.
We cut inside the ship. A small blue flicker apears on a pedastal. Next to it a huge sleeping chamber opens.
BLUE FIGURE: Are you alright?
MAN: I'm fine.
The soldier gets up. HE pulls a pistol off his belt and looks around.
BLUE FIGURE: The ship is destroyed. We are stuck here.
The man ignores the statement, and opens the ships doors.
He looks out into the fog. A figure moves fast in it. Then another. He holds out his pistol.
BLUE FIGURE: What is it?
MAN: I dont know.
BLUE FIGURE: Chief, whats the plan?
The man turns his head toward the blue figure we now know is Cortana. He pulls out a plasma gernade.
MASTER CHIEF: The same plan. Survive.
He throws it at this massive alien, that breaks through the fog. The plasma gernade sticks the alien's head. It blows up.
