Since “Days of Concord” is finished; I will announce the next thing I am working on, one which will, very likely, take me into the middle of next year. [To finish, that is.]
I have two things I want to work on. A movie revolving around a truck driver, and this. I choose to do this primarily, as for the other movie, I need to study up a bit on it first, as well as outline it.
Title- “Les Numbeux Amours” [The Many Loves]
It will be a seven part miniseries, as such to symbol the seven days of the week. All seven parts will be seven different tales of love, the lack thereof, and the many things people use as a substitute. The basic theme will be how we find love, attain it, and if it is possible for consistent and simultaneous love. I will announce the basic plots and titles of the parts a few days before posting them; and they will be under the TV board, as it is, again, a mini-series. [Note: Not a TV Show.]
After the last part is finished, I will edit them into a movie. So, while it is not vital you view them on TV, they will be extended on there, and offer alot more in depth exploring of the character’s psyche and desires. Also, viewing them as the many parts will also make it an almost entirely different experience. The movie will be more of an ensemble piece (which will require writing more material as well as taking lots out). The show is meant to serve as a dissection of the human conditions that trigger love. There will be no direct connections and intermixing of the characters or plots in the show.
The updates, such as the info of each specific “segment” will be listed and edited on this thread.
[THESE WILL NOT, FOR SURE, BE SHOWN IN THIS ORDER.]
Segment 1- "The Threads of Perpetuity"- The first segment will cover the continuity of love, and if it can be everlasting.
Segment 2- "Self/Rnoitcelfe"- This will deal with the facade of love and the true emptiness that can lie underneath.
Segment 3- "Spherical (in) Movement"- The mutuality of love, and the effects of fixation.
Segment 4- "Philosophy of Dreams/-Visible-"- the search for love.
Segment 5- "Analysis and Structure; Nude"- the benefits of love, proving one's existence and making one complete.
Segment 6- "Air"- the effects of love in natural setting. Raw love; passion, emotion, bestiality.
Segment 7- "Meditation...on a Virgin (From 5:00 in the Afternoon until Woven Joy]"- the innocence of love. Experimenting with love. Exploring the idea.
Segment 8- "Prism [Composition/Off White]" - A Conclusion [This will only be about fifteen pages or so- a very short epilogue]
Each segment will be sexually explicit, mostly; so don’t view if you don’t want to. The movie will cut that stuff out, for the most part. I cannot say how long each segment will be, but I will try to keep them generally consistent, likely around 60 or 80 pages apiece. The film, of course, will probably be cut to 120 pages or, maybe, a tad longer.
I highly recommend checking out the series, though, and not waiting for the movie, as the series will offer a lot more reflection. But, if you don’t want to sift through so many pages, the movie will be out next year, after the seventh segment is released.
