With the series finale of Clocks coming up in right around 1 months time, I thought it would be a good idea to post a rehashing of some of the more important and vital points that will be used in the finale. These are placed in chronological order (except for one, kudos to anyone who can find it )
This turned out much longer than I had originally anticipated, so feel free to browse through them if you don't wish to read it all. As a side note, if you are a follower of the show this is definitely for you. Everything put into this has SOMETHING to do with the finale. If you have never seen Clocks, watching this will help to understand the finale...but I'm afraid you will still be a bit lost
Eitherway, here is

Episode 1x01 “Pilot”
EXT. DARK ALLEY – EVENING
Marianne looks down at her feet as she walks. She seems to sense someone is behind her and glances back, attempting to look inconspicuous. The outline of a figure is rapidly approaching.
Flowers fall to the ground near some black trash bags. CLOSE on them as one of the petals falls off, blowing violently in a gush of wind.
Marianne’s pace quickens, but the footsteps behind her grow louder. She can see the end of the alley just up ahead.
CLOSE on feet, quickly walking one after another. Pan up to see Charles swiftly moving down the alley. He has a look of determination and relentlessness on his face.
Marianne turns, but is instantly bludgeoned across the face. She falls to the ground on her stomach, clutching her nose.
MARIANNE
Stop! Stop it!
He punches her violently, tearing at her clothes like a rabid animal. One hand holds her down as her jeans are pulled down with the other.
MARIANNE
Please! What are you doing?!?
Marianne’s cries echo in the dark alley, but nobody comes. A hand covers her mouth, stifling the screams. Her bulged, bloodshot eyes produce tears which roll down her cheeks and onto his hand. Marianne gives in and stops fighting. After a few moments, all movement stops.
The man stands up and Marianne watches his feet as he walks off. As her eyes move up, she barely catches a glimpse of him as he turns the corner. A streetlight above casts his shadow from around the corner. For a brief second his shadow almost seems to elongate strangely. Like that, it is gone. Marianne lowers her head and sobs.
Episode 1x01 “Pilot”
INT. HOSPITAL ROOM – EVENING
Roy enters the room to see Marianne lying on the bed. She looks serene and comfortable. Cords run from different areas of her body into large machines. She is either asleep or overly sedated, Roy is not sure which. He sits down next to her and takes her hand in his.
BEAT.
He brushes her hair from her face, trying to fight back the coming tears.
ROY
Marianne. I’m not sure if you can hear me, but I think you can. We may have only known each other for a few years, but I’ve never felt so close to anyone in my life. Each day, living in that shelter, I wonder how I can make it to tomorrow. Then I think of you. I know we can get through all of this, and I know things will get better for us. They have to.
Marianne’s eyes remain closed, but flutter momentarily.
ROY (cont.)
It’s getting late and they said I could only see you for a few minutes. I just want you to know I am here. I will be here as long as it takes. Whatever it is that has brought you here, we can get through it. Together. I love you Mary.
Roy kisses her hand softly. Machines start to BUZZ and BEEP all around the room. Suddenly Marianne’s unconscious body begins convulsing violently.
ROY
Marianne!
Roy attempts to hold her down, but her strength is overwhelming. Her eyelids open with only her sclera visible.
ROY (cont.)
Doc! Get in here!
Two nurses rush in, followed by the doctor. The doctor grabs a SYRINGE and fills it with a clear fluid.
DOCTOR
What happened?
ROY
Nothing, I mean, I don’t know. I was just talking to her. Is she going to be okay?
Roy tries grabs hold of her hand, trying to help.
DOCTOR
Sir, I’m gonna’ need you to leave the room. Sir, you need to leave now!
Roy backs toward the door as the doctor approaches her with the needle.
DOCTOR
(to the nurses)
Hold her down.
The two nurses hold her seizing body down to the best of their abilities. The doctor sticks the needle into the largest vein in her arm. Her body falls limp instantly.
Episode 1x01 “Pilot”
INT. HOSPITAL ROOM – NIGHT
Roy peeks his head in to see Marianne. She lies still just as before. He sits next to her and places his hand on her belly, hesitating for a moment. Just as he touches her, her eyes begin to open. Roy looks at the floor, not noticing she is awake.
MARIANNE
Hey buddy, do I know you? What’re you tryin’ to do?
Roy’s head shoots up with a puzzled and concerned look on his face.
ROY
Marianne? It’s Roy.
Marianne stares at him for a few moments, no recognition on her face at all.
MARIANNE
Okay, Roy. Do I know you?
Roy’s eyes well up as he stares at Marianne, his heart broken. Before he gets too upset, Marianne grins from ear to ear.
MARIANNE
Works every time.
Roy’s eyes bulge and he hugs her with everything he can muster.
ROY
Don’t ever do that again!
Marianne laughs uncontrollably as Roy blushes. A sharp pain causes her to wince from laughing.
MARIANNE
Don’t make me laugh, it hurts.
ROY
That’s what you get. Jeez, I’ve been waitin’ for you to get up. Talk about lazy.
MARIANNE
Whatever. So heard anything from the doctor?
ROY
Still waiting. I’m sure everything is okay though.
MARIANNE
I heard you.
ROY
Huh?
MARIANNE
I heard you while I was out. The things you said. Did you mean it?
Roy looks at the floor for a few moments before setting his gaze back to Marianne.
ROY
Every word of it, Mary.
She smiles brightly and leans forward. The two embrace and share a passionate kiss. Roy pulls back just as the door opens. The doctor enters and Roy stands.
ROY
Doc, anything?
DOCTOR
(to Marianne)
Oh, you’re awake. How do you feel?
MARIANNE
(looking at Roy)
Actually, I feel great. Guess I’m just waitin’ on the verdict.
BEAT.
DOCTOR
Well, we did some tests and have pinpointed the cause. Marianne, you’re pregnant. About a month along.
Tears well up in her eyes. She knows. Roy’s face fills with anger and disdain.
Episode 1x02 “Genesis”
INT. HOSPITAL - EVENING
CLOSE UP of Marianne's face. She screams in pain, sweat dripping down her face. Pan out to see her lying in a hospital bed, similar to before. Doctors scatter around the room and one sits between her legs. She is about to give birth.
DOCTOR
Marianne, I need you to push as hard as you can, okay? Can you do that?
MARIANNE
Uh-huh..
Marianne pushes and screams with everything she has. A female doctor stands behind the seated one.
FEMALE DOCTOR
Almost there. We can see the head.
Marianne wrenches in pain again, tears blending in with the sweat rolling down her cheeks. Suddenly a baby's cry is heard. The Doctor stands up, holding a small, fragile infant. Marianne's body goes limp as she takes a few long, deep breaths.
"Lightning Crashes" by Live plays softly in the background.
DOCTOR
Congratulations. You are now the mother of a beautiful baby boy.
Marianne lies on her back staring at the ceiling. Her chest moves up and down with her breathing. She closes her eyes and smiles.
Episode 1x06 “The Red Herring”
INT. CARTER RESIDENCE - 1989 - DAY
Marianne wakes up in her bed. She looks around, sensing something is wrong. She jumps up and heads to Charles' room. His bed is ruffled, but empty.
MARIANNE
Charles? Honey?
She searches the remainder of the house, panic slowly rising. When she finishes searching in the kitchen, she quickly picks up the telephone and dials 911. Just as she hits the last button, she sees Charles through the kitchen window. He is about ten yards out behind the house in a forest area.
OPERATOR (O.S.)
(coming from the phone at Marianne's waist)
Emergency services, how can I help you?
Marianne watches as Charles makes strange gestures with his hands, his mouth moving as if he's speaking to someone. She quickly hangs up the phone.
EXT. CARTER RESIDENCE - 1989 - DAY
Marianne quickly approaches Charles, he is talking to someone. Whoever it is they must be concealed behind the large bushes next to him. Charles glances over and sees Marianne.
MARIANNE
Charlie! What are you doing out here?
He smiles and looks back to the bushes. Now he appears to be looking for something...whoever it was is gone.
MARIANNE
(finally making it to him)
Charlie, you scared the daylights out of me! What are you doing out
here so early? And by yourself?
Charles cowers, knowing his Mother is upset.
CHARLES
I was just talking to my friend.
Marianne checks the bushes. Nothing.
MARIANNE
Who Charles? Who were you talking to?
CHARLES
I don't know his name.
MARIANNE
You know you don't talk to strangers, Charlie. Right?
CHARLES
He's not a stranger. We are friends.
MARIANNE
What's his name?
CHARLES
(insistent)
I don't know!
MARIANNE
Okay then. He's a stranger. Let's go.
She takes his hand and as they walk back to the house she glances around the area one last time.
MARIANNE
Don't ever run off like that again, Charlie.
He doesn't respond.
Episode 1x08 “The Lifting of the Veil”
INT. CARTER RESIDENCE – BEDROOM - NIGHT
Marianne lies absolutely still in her bed, the sheet half-draped across her night-gown covered body. Some clanking noises can be heard in another room.
INT. CARTER RESIDENCE – KITCHEN – CONTINUOUS
Charles is awake and rummaging through drawers. His hair has almost fully grown back since the “accident”.
He pours a glass of milk and places it in the microwave, heating it just a bit.
While it heats he takes a pill from a small bottle and splits it in two.
BEEP. The microwave sounds off and Charles pulls out the glass of steaming milk. He holds the capsule over the glass and pours the white powdery ingredients into the milk, stirring it up afterward.
INT. CARTER RESIDENCE – BEDROOM – CONTINUOUS
Marianne lies exactly the same as she did before. A creak is heard on the floorboards and Marianne jumps up to a sitting position.
In a quick flash the DARK FIGURE quickly wisps into the shadows by the closet door. Marianne rubs her eyes, unsure of whether she is seeing things. As the blur dissipates she is startled to see Charles next to her bed holding the glass of milk.
MARIANNE
Charlie? What’s this?
CHARLES
Warm milk. Exactly how you like it.
Marianne smiles lovingly and takes the offered milk. She takes a sip of it.
MARIANNE
Mmmm…it’s perfect.
CHARLES
Goodnight mommy.
MARIANNE
Goodnight sweetie.
Charles walks to the door as Marianne quickly drinks. He smiles eerily into the CAMERA.
CUT TO:
Young Charles stands outside his home as the sun is just starting to rise. Behind him is an ambulance. Charles watches as a body bag is wheeled out on a gurney. The neighbors all stand near the house watching sadly. Charles stares straight ahead hypnotically.
Episode 1x04 “The Heart of War”
INT. SETH'S APARTMENT - DAY
FLASHBACK to Seth's apartment before the war. The kitchen is bare, with just a few dirty dishes in the sink. We hear Seth talking off-screen.
SETH (O.S.)
Yes, it is the right thing. It's what I need to do, Mom.
PAN sideways to see Seth standing next to his refrigerator talking on a cell phone.
SETH
College wasn't for me. No, it wasn't, that's why I dropped out, Mother. I ain't no intellectual, this is better for me. This is me! I need to do something with meaning, something important.
Seth is getting more and more agitated as the conversation goes on.
SETH
Yes, I am going next Thursday. To Iran. I'm sure it will, Mom. It sorta’ comes with the territory.
From the other side you can hear the muffled voice of his Mother, yelling loudly through the phone. He pulls the phone from his ear until it quiets down a bit.
SETH
That's your decision Mother. Just like this is mine. No it's not! This is my destiny!
Seth throws the phone hard against the wall, breathing heavily. He sits down on one of the kitchen chairs and tries to calm down.
Episode 1x05 “Georgia On My Mind”
INT. ROY'S CAR - 2010 - DAY
Roy looks at himself through the rearview mirror. He fiddles with his hair, sweat rolling down his forehead. There is a news report on the radio. The woman talks about the Iranian "Conflict" and how it is affecting the Nation's economy.
EXT. LAYLA'S HOUSE - 2010 - DAY
POV behind Roy as he walks up the steps to Layla's front door. He rings the bell and waits patiently.
BEAT.
The door opens and Layla stands in the doorway, not recognizing Roy. She puffs on a cigarette and lets out a sickly cough.
LAYLA
I'm not interested in whatever you're sellin'.
ROY
I'm, umm..I'm not selling anything.
LAYLA
Then whaddya' want?
ROY
My name is Roy. Roy Walker.
Layla’s caught off guard. She recognizes the name. She flicks her cigarette and it zips dangerously close to his head.
LAYLA
Roy Walker, huh? What the hell are you doin' here?
ROY
I just wanted to say I'm sorry. For what I did.
She laughs in his face.
LAYLA
Sorry? For a one night stand twenty-some years ago!?!
ROY
Yes.
Layla is somewhat taken aback by his sincerity.
LAYLA
The past is the past. Gotta' move on.
ROY
How have you been?
LAYLA
Look Roy, I accepted your apology. But to be perfectly honest, I don't want nothin' to do with you. I wondered for a long time if I'd see you again.
BEAT.
Roy looks at the ground shamefully.
LAYLA (cont.)
I told myself if I did, I'd tell you about the mess you left. Then tell you goodbye. So that's what I'ma do.
ROY
I'm not sure what you mean.
LAYLA
You have a child Roy. I got pregnant that night. You have a son.
ROY
I what? That can't be!
LAYLA
It can and it is. He didn't know you the last twenty years, he don't need to know you now.
ROY
What's he like? Will you just tell me a little about him?
Layla fights back tears as she sighs.
LAYLA
You didn’t know him the last twenty years, you don’t need to know him now. He'll be dead soon anyway.
She's ready to erupt in sobs any moment. She lowers her head, hiding her tears.
LAYLA (cont.)
Please, you need to go. Goodbye Roy.
She goes inside and shuts the door in his face. He backs up in a daze.
INT. LAYLA'S HOUSE - DAY
Layla uses a kleenex to wipe her tears away. Her makeup is smudged and running down her face. She sits down at the table and grabs a pen and paper.
She begins writing at a frenetic pace. CAMERA MOVES in to see what she is writing.
It's a letter, addressed to Seth. It says "I love you and I am sorry for not standing behind you in your decision" among other things. Signed, Mom.
Episode 1x04 “The Heart of War”
EXT. SMALL VILLAGE - NIGHT
Seth sits with his back to the cement barricade. The night is now quiet, all firing has stopped. He takes a drag off a cigarette and watches the smoke float high in the dark sky. His arm is still tied up with the handkerchief. The blood from his wound soaks through. Tommy Lyons approaches and takes a seat next to him.
TOMMY
All quiet on the western front.
Seth chuckles softly. His face is worn and tired.
SETH
Yes it is.
TOMMY
My dad used to love that movie. The one with Brando.
Seth realizes he’s mistaken and starts to speak, but decides not to.
TOMMY (cont.)
What's your family like, Seth? Back home.
Seth takes his time answering.
SETH
I don't have no family back home.
TOMMY
No family? Mom, Dad, brothers, cousins? Pets?
SETH
I never met my Dad. He left before I was born. Ain't got no brothers or sisters. I have a mom, of course. But we don't talk much anymore.
TOMMY
Why?
SETH
We had a falling out. She didn't want me to join the army. She wanted me to go to college, become a doctor. Like a "normal" teenager.
They both stare straight ahead, neither sure what to say next. Tommy pulls out a small wallet-sized PICTURE and hands it to Seth.
TOMMY
This is my girl. She's waiting back home for me. Her name’s Eva. She's a Ruski.
The girl in the photo is in her mid-twenties, short dark hair and piercing black eyes.
SETH
She's beautiful. She speak good English?
TOMMY
Sure, I guess. We manage.
They both laugh.
TOMMY (cont.)
You got a picture of your Mom? Rabbit’s foot? Somethin' for luck?
Seth reaches in his camo jacket and pulls out a folded up piece of PAPER.
SETH
Just this.
TOMMY
The hell is it? A letter?
SETH
Yeah.
TOMMY
You read it?
SETH
Nope.
TOMMY
Why the hell not?
Seth folds and unfolds the letter in his hands.
SETH
When I came here I told myself I wouldn't read this letter until the time came.
TOMMY
When what time comes?
SETH
The time that I’m going to die.
TOMMY
That's screwed up, man.
Seth laughs.
TOMMY (cont.)
Seriously, put that crap away. Ain't none of us dying here.
Seth smiles and nods.
SETH
I know.
Seth puts the paper away. Another brief silence as Seth nervously fidgets with his WRISTWATCH.
TOMMY
There you go with your watch, again. Maybe that's what you should do when we get outta' this craphole. Sell watches.
Just as Seth is about to respond, the school house door opens, startling them both.
Episode 1x04 “The Heart of War”
INT. SCHOOL HOUSE - EVENING
The soldiers inside gawk at the tanks excitedly. They remain still, perhaps scanning the area.
SETH
We need to go out there. Douglas, you and Tommy go first. Me and Victor'll follow. Cover each other! We don't want any of those bastards takin' pot-shots at us.
They nod.
SETH (cont.)
Go, now! Go! Go! Go!
In an instant the four rush out of the building cautiously watching every direction. Once they get about twenty feet away from the tanks, some hostiles appear from behind the school house.
POP! POP!
They shoot off rounds toward the soldiers, causing them to duck in fear. They make it to the tanks and hide behind them, where a soldier waits.
SOLDIER
You Lieutenant Prescott?
SETH
Yeah, that's me. Thanks for comin'.
SOLDIER
No problem, you guys better stay back as far as you can.
SETH
Why?
There is another RUMBLE. Seth sees the middle tank slightly moving forward. The cannon on the front end begins rotating, until it is pointing at the school house.
SOLDIER
That’s why. Those hostiles are hidin’ all around these buildings. Are orders are to eliminate all threats.
SETH
What the --
Seth's eyes widen in shock.
SETH (cont.)
No wait!
He waves his hands in the air, desperately trying to get the tank operators attention. Out of the corner of his eye he sees Natalia slowly walking toward him, right in front of the tank.
SETH
Natalia!
Seth rushes to her as she looks around at the chaos. When he reaches her he scoops her up and heads back to the other soldiers. As they run back the tank shoots the school house with it's cannon, causing it to explode in true Michael Bay fashion.
The explosion boosts Seth and Natalia forward and into the dirt. They both look back at the burning inferno that used to be the school house.
SETH
Are you okay?
She nods, but is clearly frightened.
SETH (cont.)
Go over there, to Tommy. Run!
She quickly runs to Tommy as Seth stands up and heads for the tank.
SETH
(screaming)
What the hell are you guys doing?!? There was a woman and children inside there! Innocent civilians, for Christ sake!
A couple soldiers step in front of Seth and restrain him as he flails wildly.
SOLDIER
Sir, you need to step back.
SETH
You didn't have to do that!
The tank door pops open and Seth stops moving as he watches with anticipation. Suddenly Charles climbs out of the tank, dressed in typical military gear. He walks to Seth and nods for the Soldiers to let go of him.
CHARLES
Lieutenant Prescott, is there a problem?
SETH
There were innocent civilians in there, Sir. It wasn't necessary.
CHARLES
Orders are orders, Lieutenant.
SETH
With all due respect Sir, that's a load of crap!
Charles slyly smiles.
CHARLES
It would be wise for you to lose that tone, Soldier. I am your superior and you will stand down! Drop it and move on lieutenant or I'll have you disciplined for your actions.
Seth thinks for a moment before turning away and walking toward Natalia and Tommy.
CHARLES
(to his battalion)
Let's move out!
Tommy and the rest of the soldiers are climbing into their Humvee to follow the Tanks. Seth watches as Charles' tank leads the way.
Episode 1x02 “Genesis”
INT. NEW CHURCH OF CHRIST - BASEMENT - EVENING
The group of individuals sit around the darkened room. Everyone's gaze is directed at Seth, who is leaned against the door nonchalantly.
SETH
Look, you guys don't have to convince me that Abaddon isn't a saint. I know from experience, he's far from it.
DOUG
Wouldn't surprise me if he was a high member of the Illuminati.
ROSE
Doug, enough with the Illuminati.
DOUG
Okay, fine.
Seth chuckles at the ridiculousness of the situation.
SETH
Seriously, stop wasting my time. What is Abaddon doing, that I don’t know about, that would be such a big conspiracy?
Ron leans forward slowly.
RON
You read about his trip to Syria earlier this year, correct?
Seth nods.
RON (cont.)
Reliable sources say that he had some very shady meetings while he was there.
SETH
With who?
RON
Let's just say he was meeting with the wrong crowd. You've heard of Amir Asheri?
SETH
The terrorist?
RON
That's him. He was behind the attacks in Jordan last year.
Ron slides a photo across the table in the center of the room. It shows Charles Abaddon meeting with an Israeli man, presumably Amir Asheri.
SETH
Why was Abaddon meeting an Israeli terrorist?
RON
That's a good question. Luckily the man who snapped this shot, also snapped one more.
Ron slides a second photo across the table. This one shows Charles Abaddon handing the Israeli man a silver briefcase.
SETH
Is he being blackmailed?
RON
Seth, he is paying Asheri to do a job, if you know what I mean.
SETH
A job? Paying a terrorist to attack a country? If Charles Abaddon wanted to attack a
country, in his position of power, he could do it a helluva’ lot easier than that.
RON
You’ve said it yourself, in your blogs. Abaddon is setting us up for World War three. This is just the beginning.
SETH
So say you’re right, which I definitely am not suggesting, what country is he looking to attack?
RON
I don’t know. But I am right Seth.
Ron pulls a tape recorder from his shirt pocket.
SETH (cont.)
What's this?
RON
An insider got this to me. He got a jump on the location of their meeting. Got there first, set up a bug, and recorded their conversation.
Ron clicks PLAY on the tape recorder. It opens with static before voices are heard. Seth waits with a smirk on his face.
CHARLES (O.S.)
Are you alone?
ASHERI (O.S.)
Of course, Mr. Abaddon.
CHARLES (O.S.)
Can you do it?
BEAT.
CHARLES (O.S.)
(angrily)
Well? Can you?
ASHERI (O.S.)
You know I can do it. Are you sure about this? Do you understand the implications?
CHARLES (O.S.)
Don't worry about what I understand, Mr. Asheri.
ASHERI (O.S.)
And the public? What will they think?
CHARLES (O.S.)
They’ll think what I make them think. That’s the good thing about sheep.
Seth's smirk begins to go away. He looks at Rose who nods her head. It's the truth.
ASHERI (O.S.)
We can have everything in order soon. The warheads are on their way as we speak.
CHARLES (O.S.)
Good. These are the targets.
There is some incoherent noises in the background.
ASHERI (O.S.)
All of them?
CHARLES (O.S.)
All of them. I'll contact you to let you know when.
Suddenly static fills the tape recorder once again. The group sits in silence as Ron clicks the recorder off.
RON
Were not sure what happened, but the line cut off.
SETH
Who are you people?
ROSE
We are part of a much larger coalition, if you will. Spread throughout the globe.
SETH
And you?
Seth points at Ron, who smiles.
RON
I'm nobody. Just another revolutionary.
SETH
Okay, so let's say I believe you. Why not just go to the police? The F.B.I.?
RON
I wish it were that easy.
Many of the group's faces change after that comment. Sadness fills their eyes.
SETH
What?
ROSE
We had a member, he was in the Bureau. He tried to take information to someone who could do something. Blow the whole thing wide open.
SETH
So what happened?
ROSE
Abaddon got to him first.
Seth realizes what they are implying.
SETH
So, what do you want me for?
BEAT.
RON
We want you, Seth, to kill Charles Abaddon.
The words ring out in the darkened basement as Seth tries to grasp what he's just heard.
Episode 1x03 “Missing Pieces”
EXT. ABANDONED WAREHOUSE - NIGHT
ESTABLISHING shot of a large warehouse. It is a brown color, and nearly in shambles. The windows are boarded up. Lights shine on the front door and a rustiling noise can be heard.
They are headlights. A black car pulls into the lot in front of the warehouse. The back door opens and Charles Abaddon steps out. He looks around the area and approaches the warehouse. He is carrying a shiny silver briefcase.
INT. ABANDONED WAREHOUSE - NIGHT
The door creaks open and Abaddon steps in, scanning the room. Off in the far left corner there is a small light illuminating off the walls. He walks to it. As he gets close he sees a man sitting in a small wooden desk chair, back to the camera. His long black ponytail hangs down behind the chair.
CHARLES
You weren't followed?
ASHERI
Of course not.
CHARLES
Good.
The man stands and faces Abaddon. His complexion is dark and he has small beady eyes. He smiles as he looks at the briefcase in Abaddon's hand.
ASHERI
Is that my money?
Charles sets it softly on the chair he was just seated in.
CHARLES
Yes. It's all there. Feel free to count it.
Asheri smiles slyly.
ASHERI
I trust you. If it's not, you won't be hard to find.
Charles shrugs and chuckles.
CHARLES
I guess you do.
Asheri turns and gestures toward a large World Map propped up on a wooden stand.
ASHERI
What’s the visual aid for?
CHARLES
Geography lesson.
Asheri doesn't seem to get the joke. He sits back down in the wooden chair, holding the briefcase close to his side.
CAMERA P.O.V. from behind the map, looking over the top toward Abaddon and Asheri. Charles reaches into his inside pocket. He pulls out a small package of thumb tacks, each a different color.
CHARLES (cont.)
Seven targets. All of them are to be hit in succession. One swoop.
Charles pushes in a tack.
CHARLES (cont.)
Boom.
He reaches in the bag and grabs another and pushes it in.
CHARLES (cont.)
Boom.
He repeats this for the next 4 pins as Asheri watches. Charles pulls out the last tack. It is red. He holds it near his face examining it closely.
CHARLES (cont.)
Take out these sites, then the rest will follow. You have everything you need?
Asheri nods.
CHARLES (cont.)
As they reel from those six blows, then we finish them off.
The camera PANS around the map to bring it into view. We pan east to west and we see each colored tack stuck in it's target.
Los Angeles, Phoenix, Denver, Houston, Chicago, Cleveland.
Charles sticks the last tack into the map. Directly into New York City.
CHARLES (cont.)
Boom.
Episode 1x06 “The Red Herring”
INT. PARKING GARAGE - DAY
Though it is day, the parking garage is as dark as night. Charles, along with his two armed guards, approaches a figure in the shadows.
CHARLES
Make this quick, I gotta' be somewhere.
The voice sounds quiet and disguised.
INFORMANT
They know.
CHARLES
You call me on today of all days, to say you have something urgent to speak to me about and the best you've got is "they know"?
INFORMANT
About the attacks. The attacks you are planning.
Charles looks impatient.
CHARLES
They don't know anything. You don't even know what the hell you are talking about.
INFORMANT
They have you speaking about it on tape.
Charles does not waiver.
CHARLES
There better be more. You couldn't have bothered me with this nonsense.
BEAT.
INFORMANT
There's more.
Charles raises his eyebrows as he waits.
CHARLES
I'm listening...
INFORMANT
First I need my money. I'm leaving the country.
CHARLES
Is that right? Well tell me what you need to tell me and you'll get your money.
INFORMANT
They are planning something of their own.
Charles is in a hurry.
CHARLES
What's that?
INFORMANT
An assassination. They are planning to kill you.
He chuckles, amused at the thought.
CHARLES
(sinisterly)
Oooh...
INFORMANT
Sir, I'd advise you to not give that speech today. It's being carried out as we speak.
Long BEAT as Charles considers this.
CHARLES
Good.
Charles and his "protection" turn and walk away, leaving the informant in the dark by himself.
INFORMANT
My money? Sir?
Charles ignores him as they exit the garage. The informant steps forward desperately trying to get his attention. Into the light his identity is revealed.
DOUG
I need that money!
Episode 1x08 “The Lifting of the Veil”
INT. CAR – EVENING
Seth drives as Eva sits contently next to him. She passively watches out the window and the anarchy that surrounds them.
BEAT.
SETH
The night the bombs went off, on the clock tower. You seemed to handle that gun pretty well.
She continues to stare out, her expression remaining the same.
EVA
When I met Tommy, he swept me off my feet. I was in love in an instant. It was love at...
(struggles with translation)
First look?
Seth smiles and nods.
SETH
Yes, Tommy had that effect.
EVA
Yes. Then he went to Iran. I worried every night and every day about him in Iran. I was afraid he would be killed.
(BEAT)
It’s funny, I guess I should have worried about him here at home.
She now turns to face Seth with a pained expression on her face.
EVA (cont.)
I was sad for a long time. I needed ambition. So I decide to take out all my anger and point it in right direction. So I learn how to defend myself. I learn to use guns.
Seth puts his hand on her shoulder in a friendly manner.
SETH
I’m very sorry about what happened to Tommy. He was a good man.
EVA
Yes he was. He talked about you all the time. He admired you.
Another long BEAT. Ahead of the car is a eerie view of the sunset. It is just a thick orange color seeping through the haze and fog of the N.Y. sky.
EVA (cont.)
It was very hard when I got news about his death. It was like I had died myself, you know?
SETH
Yes, I understand completely.
EVA
When I was with him it was great. I could go to sleep at evening time and sleep until noon the next day. I would feel no guilt for sleeping so much. When I wake up next to him I know I’m exactly where I want to be. Where I’m supposed to be. It is great feeling.
Seth nods again and smiles through the overwhelming images of Rose in his mind.
SETH
Again, I understand completely. I think I found that in someone as well.
They take a left turn and head down another deserted city street.
Episode 1x08 “The Lifting of the Veil”
EXT. CENTRAL PARK – EVENING
The crowd has nearly tripled from what we last saw and is now numbering in the thousands. One face stands out as he walks through the mob of people.
Ron Luther.
Out of the corner of his eye he sees Doug walking up to a small restroom facility. He enters the men’s room. Ron quickly follows, constantly looking over his shoulder in a paranoid manner.
INT. MEN’S ROOM – CONTINUOUS
Ron creeps through the door and around the corner. Doug stands silently at a urinal, his back to Ron.
After he finishes he turns around and nearly walks right into him. Ron grabs him by the collar and violently throws him into the wall.
DOUG
What the hell are you doing!?!
Ron looks coldly at Doug who, if he had not just relieved himself, would probably have soaked pants right now.
RON
Cut the crap, Doug. How long have you been feeding information to him?
BEAT.
RON (cont.)
How long?!?
He slams him hard against the wall again.
DOUG
Not long, I swear. I needed money, Ron. I’m sorry!
Ron doesn’t show an ounce of sympathy. He reaches to his belt and pulls out a small 9MM. He puts it to Doug’s head frightening him beyond belief.
RON
You’re pathetic. A disgrace.
Doug tears up as he closes his eyes shamefully.
DOUG
Please, Ron! I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry.
He pulls the hammer back and Doug whimpers loudly.
DOUG (cont.)
(desperately)
I can help you. I know I screwed up, let me straighten it out.
(BEAT)
I can kill him. I can kill Charles Abaddon.
Ron tightens his jaw as his finger applies pressure to the trigger.
DOUG (cont.)
I’ll do it, Ron. Let me do it.
Ron grimaces as he pulls the pistol from his head. He couldn’t pull the trigger.
RON
I NEVER want to see you again.
Ron releases Doug, who slouches down to a sitting position against the wall, tears streaming down his face. He exits, leaving Doug in the restroom alone.
Episode 1x08 “The Lifting of the Veil”
EXT. CENTRAL PARK – STAGE – NIGHT
A large, empty stage is set up outdoors. A single spotlight shines directly in the center. Pan out to large crowds, numbering in the thousands, anxiously anticipating SOMETHING.
The crowd roars with excitement, smiles covering their faces. Charles Abaddon steps into the spotlight.
CHARLES
Welcome ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to a new beginning. I know things have been hard. We have all suffered many losses in recent times. But I am vowing, here and now, to bring an end to all American bloodshed!
The applause from the crowd grows considerably louder.
CHARLES (cont.)
We have all lost loved ones. Friends and family alike. We’ve been impacted greatly by the recent tragedies that have fallen on our country. But we will not stand down! We will continue to fight! We will fight until there is nothing more to fight for. The U.A. will become what the U.S.A. used to be.
The crowd now erupts in a wave of cheers. Charles stands under the spotlight, arms stretched toward them, taking it all in.
CHARLES (cont.)
So now, we let the rebuilding process begin. Tonight, my
CHARLES (cont.)
brothers and sisters, marks a new beginning. The lifting of the veil!
INT. LIBRARY – NIGHT
Seth quickly climbs the HUGE staircase leading to the libraries roof.
EXT. CENTRAL PARK – STAGE – NIGHT
Behind Charles the devastating N.Y.C. scene rests. Smoke billowing, fires burning, choppers flying. Buildings are crumbled and cars are overturned. Absolute chaos.
CHARLES
As you all know we’ve been attacked. I know our search was not as swift as it should have been, but here and now I am pleased to announce we have found the perpetrators of this attack and will be serving them justice. The justice that they deserve.
The crowd erupts once again, more and more people jumping on the Abaddon bandwagon.
CHARLES (cont.)
We have found the man who has masterminded the entire attack. I’m sure many of you have heard of him. His name is Amir Asheri.
BEAT.
CHARLES (cont.)
That’s right, the terrorist who was behind many bombings throughout the globe. Was even believed to have ties with Osama Bin Laden at one point before his death in 2010. Our intelligence has provided us with sufficient evidence proving that not only was Asheri partially responsible, but
that he was trained in Iran for the attacks. And that his training and weaponry was funded by Russia.
The crowd has grown eerily silent, with the exception of a small amount of boos pouring out.
CHARLES (cont.)
But as I said before, these matters are being dealt with as we speak ladies and gentleman. I hope everyone will get behind me in pushing for the elimination of statehood. I would like to help lead our great country into a new world!
The last hurrah brings in the loudest cheering yet. Charles smiles at the crowd, waving his hands in the air like a good politician.
BOOM!
A loud gunshot is heard and Charles drops to the ground hard. The CAMERA shakes realistically, making it hard to see exactly what is happening.
A quick shot of Charles shows him lying on the ground, partially blocked by different security guards. His head is covered in blood.
Episode 2x05 “The Shot Heard ‘Round The World”
INT. HOPSITAL – DAY
Nathan Gorman sits in a waiting room, thumbing through a random magazine. He wears what is probably his nicest suit.
A couple of men dressed all in black enter and take a seat across from him.
GORMAN
Hi, I’m Nathan Gorman.
They are all business.
MAN #1
Mr. Gorman, do you know why you are here?
He shrugs.
GORMAN
No. My superiors just assigned me to...well I guess YOUR duty.
MAN #1
And you just graduated recently, correct?
GORMAN
Yes sir, I did.
Gorman glances awkwardly at the second man, who doesn’t move a muscle.
MAN #1
I need you to understand something. You have no experience. Your work in the CIA since joining has been nothing special.
Gorman frowns at his bluntness.
MAN #1 (cont.)
If you take this assignment, that will all change. Your life will change.
(beat)
But you cannot, by law, tell anyone about your work. Not your girlfriend, not your parents, not even your dog.
He nods, smiling.
GORMAN
Of course, sir.
MAN #1
Let’s go.
They stand and lead him down the hall. Only one nurse appears to be present in the entire wing.
As they pass the rooms, doors open, Gorman notices they are all empty. The beds are neatly made.
They stop at a door. Man #1 turns to face Gorman.
MAN #1
This is a matter of national security, Mr. Gorman. Do you wish to help the U.A.?
He nods again, looking quite frightened.
Man #2 opens the door and Man #1 leads Gorman into the room.
INT. HOSPITAL ROOM – CONTINUOUS
BEEPS sound off inside the room. A man, his head bandaged completely, lies on the bed. He is hooked into numerous machines.
MAN #1
Meet Charles Abaddon.
Gorman’s eyes grow wide with surprise as he stares at Abaddon’s unconscious body.
Episode 2x02 “Foreign Relations”
EXT. NEW YORK CITY - MORNING
The sun shines brightly on a busy New York street. Across the traffic-filled road is a large building. A sign above a digital clock reads:
MERITAGE BANK
NYC HEADQUARTERS
The view is obstructed when a van pulls in front of the building. It has some sort of Electrical Repair company logo on the side.
A man gets out and walks to the back of the van. He opens the double doors and takes out his large workbox.
INT. MERITAGE BANK – MORNING
The man walks through the revolving doors and heads to the security gate. He flashes an identification badge at the guard.
GUARD
(nodding)
Go ahead.
The man continues as he heads up an escalator to the upper floors. The interior of the Bank looks futuristic, a very creative design.
The man reaches the third floor and heads down a long empty corridor. Through the windows are rows of cubicles as employees go about their daily business. A newscast is on the television hanging near the ceiling in the office area. He briefly stops to watch.
Over the Reporter’s voice are images of world leaders and bombings that took place in Russia following the attack on America.
REPORTER (O.S.)
Now more than two weeks since the return fire against Russia, the United States government says they have no intention of backing off. They have made it clear that they will not forget about the attacks on our soil. A cease-fire has been issued by the U.N., but it looks as though both sides are ready to push the button at any time.
He pushes open a MEN’S ROOM door and enters.
INT. RESTROOM – CONTINUOUS
He quickly enters a stall and climbs atop the toilet. He forcefully removes a tile in the ceiling and places it gently to the ground.
He heaves his toolbox into the empty space and opens the lid. It’s a BOMB! He clicks a button and the timer begins. It reads 05:00.
INT. MERITAGE BANK – FIRST FLOOR – MORNING
The man steps off the escalator and walks past the security station again.
GUARD
You have a good day.
He keeps his head down as he walks past.
MAN
Thank you.
He exits through the revolving doors.
EXT. MERITAGE BANK – CONTINUOUS
The man climbs inside of his van and starts the engine. He takes one last look at the building.
BEAT.
He hits the gas and speeds away into the heavy traffic. After a brief time his van turns and is now out of sight.
BOOM!
Fire explodes out of a few of the middle-story windows. Screams ring out in the surrounding area and panic takes over.
Men and women rush out of the building in a stampede-like manner, sirens can be heard in the distance as debris reigns down on top of cars and people alike.
Episode 2x05 “The Shot Heard ‘Round the World”
INT. ABADDON RESIDENCE - EVENING
Sydney sits alone in the dark living room watching a random romance film on the television. She looks tired and her emotions drained.
Toni Braxton's "Unbreak My Heart" plays softly in the background.
DING!
The doorbell chimes as she casually gets up to answer. She opens the door to see --
Charles. He is dressed in a nice black suit with a black coat. He looks at her with sad eyes as her eyes bulge nearly out of her head.
SYDNEY
Charles?
Her eyes look hopeful as she stares at his face.
CHARLES
Hello, Sydney.
(beat)
I'm sorry.
She slaps his face hard, bursting into tears she continues to smack at him until he grabs her and pulls her into a tight hug. She concedes the fight and cries deeply onto his shoulder.
CHARLES
I had to do it. For you and Thomas.
Her cries increase in volume.
CHARLES
It's okay now.
He holds her tightly as she lifts her head and kisses his lips gently.
From behind her Thomas appears, in his pajamas.
THOMAS
Dad?
Charles smiles brightly as he sees his son.
CHARLES
Hey Tommy, come here.
Thomas approaches him, somewhat cautiously. They embrace in a hug.
CHARLES
You been watching over your mother?
THOMAS
Yes.
Sydney slightly smiles as she watches the two hug lovingly.
Episode 2x06 “Revelations”
INT. U.N. HEADQUARTERS – NIGHT
The elevator doors open and Hearth steps out. He walks to Charles’ office defiantly.
The area is dark and empty, a small light emanates from Charles’ office.
Hearth steps inside the door.
HEARTH
Mr. Abaddon?
Charles looks up from his paperwork, surprised to see Hearth.
CHARLES
Senator, I was looking for you today.
HEARTH
Sorry, I had personal matters I had to deal with.
Charles nods.
CHARLES
No harm. What can I do for you?
Hearth takes a deep breath, building courage.
HEARTH
I need to ask you a question. And I REALLY need you to be honest with me.
Charles slightly smiles.
CHARLES
Okay, Senator.
HEARTH
Did you have any involvement in the attacks on the seven cities?
He looks appalled.
CHARLES
Excuse me?
HEARTH
Please, just answer the question.
Charles stands up angrily. He walks around the desk and leans on the front end of it.
CHARLES
I did not. The terrorist planned and orchestrated that attack.
Hearth eyes him suspiciously.
CHARLES (cont.)
Where did you get that idea?
Hearth takes a moment to respond.
HEARTH
I believe you did have something to do with it. I don’t think you are the great leader everyone thinks you are.
CHARLES
So what do you plan to do?
HEARTH
If you don’t tell me the truth, I plan to expose you.
Charles reaches behind his back and to his desk. He wraps his fingers around a small envelope cutter, the sharp blade gleaming in the moonlight.
CHARLES
That wouldn’t be a good idea.
HEARTH
I’ve got no choice.
They stare into each other’s eyes.
BEAT.
CHARLES
That’s too bad.
HEARTH
I’m sorry?
CHARLES
Me too.
In one swift motion Charles lunges forward with the blade, inserting it into Hearth’s abdomen.
He clutches his belly, his hands becoming bright red with blood. It streams slowly from his mouth as he falls to his knees at Charles’ feet.
Charles stares down at him as he slowly begins to bleed out.

INT. EVA’S HOUSE – DAY
Seth’s phone buzzes, jarring him from his momentary day dreaming.
SETH
Hello?
TERRORIST (O.S.)
I warned you.
SETH
What do you want with me?
TERRORIST (O.S.)
I wanted you to do a simple task. A task you have been contemplating for the past year.
(beat)
But you couldn’t do it.
SETH
I’m not going to kill Charles Abaddon.
TERRORIST (O.S.)
Which is why I’ve gone out and picked a delicate, beautiful flower.
Seth looks puzzled, not sure what he is talking about.
TERRORIST (O.S.)
A rose to be exact.
Seth’s eyes widen slightly and his face becomes flush.
SETH
God damn it.
(beat)
Listen to me. I’m going to hunt you down. And when I find you, when I catch you, I am going to kill you.
TERRORIST (O.S.)
(angrily)
No, Seth you listen to me! Rose is the least of your worries at the moment.
(beat)
If Charles Abaddon is not dead in forty-eight hours, I will detonate a nuclear bomb in Manhattan. Do you understand me?
Seth squints, not sure what to make of the threat.
SETH
And if I say I don’t believe you?
He chuckles in a soft, eerie manner.
TERRORIST (O.S.)
Then I guess Rose and everyone else in Manhattan will be dead. Which would you prefer on your conscience Seth? One corrupt politician or thousands of innocent lives?
Seth sighs, rubbing his head furiously.
TERRORIST (O.S.)
The choice is yours, Seth.
CLICK. The line is dead as we move CLOSE on Seth’s face to—
Episode 2x08 “The Manhattan Project”
INT. U.N. HEADQUARTERS – DAY
Charles enters his office, closing the door behind him. He walks to the window and peeks through the blinds with a paranoid demeanor.
He has a seat behind his desk and dials a number on the telephone.
INTERCUT WIH EVA’S HOUSE
Seth, packing up a bag, answers his ringing phone.
SETH
This is Seth.
CHARLES
Are you on the plane?
SETH
Heading to the airport soon. Why?
CHARLES
Did you see the press conference?
SETH
Yes.
(beat)
What do you want Charles?
Charles rubs his eyes, seemingly breaking down.
CHARLES
I don’t know what to do.
Seth stares ahead with a blank expression.
CHARLES (cont.)
I know I’ve done terrible things. But after I was shot, I’ve decided to change. Move past it. I have to take care of this monster before it’s too late.
SETH
I’m going to help you Charles. We’ll find him before he can do anything drastic. We have to.
Charles nods, as if Seth is right there before him.
CHARLES
It’s ironic you know?
(beat)
Everyone’s trying to get out of the city, yet you’re on your way in.
SETH
How many do you guess will leave?
CHARLES
It’s estimated half the city will be gone by tomorrow afternoon.
Seth doesn’t seem convinced.
SETH
Number sounds high to me.
CHARLES
I wouldn’t be so sure, Seth. After the...
(beat)
First attacks, people will do everything they can to get out. I think many people have makeshift bomb shelters, so there will be some staying behind.
Eva enters the room, ready to go. Seth signals to her “one minute”.
SETH
Well, lets just stop him before he can do anything crazy.
CHARLES
I hope so.
(beat)
Thank you, Seth.
Seth cringes a bit. The fact that he is working with Abaddon is disheartening.
Without a response, he hangs up.
Episode 2x08 “The Manhattan Project”
INT. U.N. HEADQUARTERS – EVENING
Charlotte stands at the window, looking out at the city lights. Another employee approaches her from behind. He is a younger male, around twenty-five. DAVID AUSTIN.
DAVID
Not leaving?
She turns around, startled.
CHARLOTTE
Yeah, I am. In a little while. You?
DAVID
Nah, I’ll stick it out.
She smiles sadly. She timidly crumples a folded piece of paper in her hands.
DAVID
(eyeing the paper)
What’s that?
CHARLOTTE
Just a letter. Something I need to give someone before I leave.
DAVID
Love interest?
He winks jokingly at her.
CHARLOTTE
No, not like that. Just something’s I need to get off my chest. Things I need to confess.
DAVID
Hm...sounds serious.
She shrugs.
DAVID (cont.)
Well good luck, alright?
CHARLOTTE
Yeah, you too.
After David walks away, Charlotte heads toward Charles’ office. Once inside, she goes behind his desk, opening his drawer.
BEAT.
She takes a long deep breath before setting the paper in the drawer and closing it back up.
She hesitates a moment before exiting the office.
Episode 2x08 “The Manhattan Project”
EXT. EVA’S HOUSE – NIGHT
As Eva walks toward her house, she notices Nathan Gorman sitting on her steps, smiling.
EVA
Can I help you?
He stands.
GORMAN
Did Seth make it back okay?
EVA
I’ve not heard from him yet.
BEAT.
EVA (cont.)
What is it that you want?
GORMAN
Why is Seth working with Charles Abaddon?
EVA
To catch the terrorist...why?
Gorman hesitates, cautiously choosing his words.
GORMAN
Listen, I know I work for Charles Abaddon. To you, and some others, that makes me a bad person. But I’m not. I’m deeply religious and this is all new to me. So I’m sort of struggling right now, with my faith.
Eva looks baffled.
EVA
I’m sorry, I don’t understand.
GORMAN
I have something you, Seth, should know. But it means betraying my work. But by not telling you, it means betraying my faith. I’m torn.
Eva now seems intrigued.
EVA
Then I would ask yourself, “Which is more important? Work or faith?”
BEAT.
Gorman nods, agreeing.
GORMAN
Okay, well it’s been bugging me since I saw Seth the other day. Why would Charles Abaddon be working with Seth to find the terrorist?
EVA
I think maybe he needs all the help he can get.
GORMAN
But it doesn’t add up.
EVA
Why?
BEAT.
Gorman answers quietly, as if Abaddon himself is listening nearby.
GORMAN
Charles Abaddon knows who the terrorist is.
Eva looks on in shock at the revelation.
Episode 2x08 “The Manhattan Project”
EXT. WAREHOUSE – EVENING
Roy cautiously approaches the large blue warehouse. He opens a side door and creeps in.
INT. WAREHOUSE – CONTINUOUS
Roy removes the revolver from his waist, keeping it pointed in front of him. He navigates his way through the cramped storage area, barely able to see in the dark.
Roy creeps through an open space toward a more lit area. Around a side wall he sees Rose, tied and seated in the center of the smaller room.
She sees him and her eyes widen, Roy puts his finger to his mouth indicating “shh”.
She uses her eyes to direct him as he walks toward the chain fence. Inside the room Roy notices a man, the terrorist presumably, sitting with his back turned. He wears a black sweater, the hood over his head.
As Roy moves toward him, his foot hits the edge of a small table, startling the terrorist. As he turns to see Roy, he jumps up quickly and rushes him. He tackles Roy through some crates.
The two struggle for the gun in the darkness. Roy PUNCHES him across the jaw hard, knocking him to the side. He crawls toward the gun, which had been tossed away during the tackle.
As he nearly reaches it, the terrorist KICKS him hard in the side, causing Roy to yell out in agony. The terrorist bends down to pick up the gun but Roy is on his feet and hammers him into the wall with a THUD.
He winds back and punches him hard in the face. Three more times after that. The terrorist falls in a heap on the ground.
Roy wipes the blood from his lip and goes over to Rose. He takes the gag from her mouth.
ROY
You alright?
She nods, barely able to speak. He begins untying her.
From behind the terrorist stands, unnoticed by both Rose and Roy. He slowly walks toward them, bending down for a moment.
Rose sees him and her eyes widen in shock.
ROSE
Roy, look out!
As Roy turns to see the terrorist –
BANG!
He shoots Roy with the revolver. Roy falls down, clutching his chest. Blood pours through his fingertips, creating a pool on the ground.
ROSE
You son of a bitch!
The terrorist stands above him, looking down.
TERRORIST
Damn it!
He puts his hand to his head in an odd sense of remorse as he drops the gun. He rushes out quickly as Rose struggles to get free in order to help Roy.
Rose, now fallen over in the chair, continues to struggle. Roy, his breathing barely visible, lies still in a pool of his own blood.
Seth enters suddenly.
SETH
Rose?!
She looks up to see Seth approaching.
SETH (cont.)
Where is he?
ROSE
He’s gone. He shot Roy!
Seth’s face fills with despair as he leans down to Roy.
SETH
Roy, can you hear me?
He looks at the wound, sighing. Roy’s eyes slowly open.
ROY
Seth?
SETH
Hey old man. How are you doing?
ROY
Never been better.
Seth laughs through tears.
SETH
I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have sent you here.
ROY
Ahh. Is rose okay?
SETH
She’s right here. She’s fine.
ROY
Then it was worth it.
Rose’s eyes fill with tears now.
SETH
You’re gonna’ be okay.
ROY
(painfully chuckling)
No, I’m not. But it’s good. I get to see her again.
SETH
Your girl?
ROY
Marianne. Yes. I’ve been waiting a long time to see her again.
Seth smiles as he holds Roy’s head.
ROY (cont.)
You’re going to kill him, right?
Roy grimaces slightly, letting out a loud exhale. Seth watches a moment before gravely looking at Rose.
He’s dead.
SETH
Yes. I’m going to kill him.
Rose buries her head in Seth’s shoulder, the tears erupting like a volcano.
PAN UP to see an overhead shot of the three on the warehouse floor.
Episode 2x08 “The Manhattan Project”
INT. CAR – NIGHT
Charles and Charlotte drive quietly down the road. Neither speak a word for nearly a minute.
CHARLOTTE
Did you go into your office when you came back to work, Charles?
Charles continues staring straight ahead, not hearing the question.
CHARLOTTE (cont.)
Charles?
He looks over to her, snapping out of his daze.
CHARLES
What? No, I didn’t. Why?
CHARLOTTE
Oh, no reason.
Charles slows down, Charlotte looks at the window confused.
CHARLOTTE
Why are we stopping?
CHARLES
I want to show you something.
The car stops. The two exit, Charlotte seeming hesitant.
They are on the bridge. The same bridge Charles was on merely an hour earlier.
He walks to the edge, looking over the side.
CHARLES (cont.)
When I was a boy, I used to see this figure. It was like a shadow, it didn’t have a face.
Charlotte looks at him bewildered. Frightened almost.
CHARLES (cont.)
I used to think it controlled my destiny. I thought that way for a long time.
(beat)
But I know better now.
CHARLOTTE
I’m sorry, Charles. I don’t understand.
CHARLES
When I was a boy, I jumped off a bridge. Not much different than this one. I cracked my head open, severely. A metal plate was inserted.
CHARLOTTE
That’s terrible!
CHARLES
It saved my life. Looking back, I thank God that it happened to me.
CHARLOTTE
Why?
Long BEAT. Charles turns to her and stares directly into her eyes.
CHARLES
Because if that metal plate was not put into my head. I would have died when you shot me.
Charlotte’s eyes widen in suspense. She starts to back away but Charles grabs her by the throat.
CHARLOTTE
Charles, I’m sorry.
He squeezes tight as her eyes begin to redden.
CHARLOTTE
I’m sorry. Please don’t. I’m so sorry.
BEAT.
CHARLES
So am I, Charlotte.
In one quick motion he lunges her by the neck over the bridge railing. She flails and screams wildly as her body falls about forty feet to the ravaging waters.
Charles stares down in silence.
BEAT.
He walks back to his car and climbs in the driver’s seat. He starts it and slowly drives away.
Episode 2x04 “Everything Ends”
INT. CAR – DAY
John drives while Sophie sits in the passenger seat. She stares out the window as John eyes her uneasily.
JOHN
So why do you think Thomas Abaddon had something to do with my wife’s murder?
SOPHIE
I don’t think he had something to do with it. I know he did.
JOHN
How?
Sophie points ahead.
SOPHIE
Turn left at the next light. I have proof.
JOHN
What proof?
SOPHIE
You’ll see. But by the time you do, you’ll already be convinced.
John stops there. He is confused, but his curiosity is getting the best of him.
BEAT.
SOPHIE
So, any family John? Parents?
John frowns slightly.
JOHN
I was an only child. My mom died in Russia, soon after giving birth to me. I haven’t seen my father for a long time.
SOPHIE
I’m sorry to hear that.
BEAT.
JOHN
What about you?
SOPHIE
We’re here.
John sees he’s not getting a response and pulls into a parking lot.
Episode 2x04 “Everything Ends”
INT. MENTAL INSTITUTION – EVENING
Ron, John and Sophie walk down the long corridor of the institution. Nobody says a word.
They stop at a door with the number 12 displayed on the front.
RON
This is it.
SOPHIE
What are we doing here?
Ron looks at them both intently.
RON
You want to know about Abaddon? This man can tell you everything you want.
Ron opens the door and they enter.
INT. ROOM 12 – CONTINUOUS
The room is dim and simple. A bed, TV, desk. At the window is a man, staring out at the water behind.
RON
Hey.
The man turns around. It’s Seth Prescott.
He is much older, his hair and beard disheveled and gray. John’s mouth widens with surprise.
JOHN
Dad?
Seth sits on his bed as the other three stand near the far wall.
RON
Seth, these two are looking for information on Thomas Abaddon.
Seth just stares at John.
RON
Seth?
SETH
How have you been, John?
John timidly answers.
JOHN
Fine.
RON
Seth can you help?
Seth now breaks his gaze and looks at Ron.
SETH
I haven’t seen you in years. Did you know this man saved my life?
Everyone is all business.
SETH (cont.)
I’d really rather not talk about this. Maybe John, you and I could go out for coffee. We can talk about it then.
JOHN
(resentful)
No thanks.
Seth doesn’t even seem bothered by it. Either the medication is affecting him, or he’s just plain crazy.
RON
There is nothing you can tell us?
He coughs and turns his back to them. He walks to the window and stares out blankly.
Ron starts to speak again, but realizes it’s no use. He nods for the rest to follow him as they exit.

INT.

INT.
