Man VO: What makes a good story?
(The camera pans out and we see a suit of armor covered in blood lying as the snow falls around him)
Man VO: Is it the main character?
(The hand twitches)
Man VO: The loyal sidekick?
(Cut to a man in tears kneeling in the snow)
Man VO: The romantic love interest?
(Cut to a man and woman kissing in front of an enourmous spaceship)
Man VO: Or is all that matters the antagonist?
(Cut to a man kneeling before an empty throne with a gun in his hand)
(Cut to the knight lying in the snow)
(We pan out to see the man who is talking)
(He is standing over the knight with a bloody sword)
Man: Is the villain the only one who matters?
(He holds the sword over the fallen knight)
Man: Will this end as a heroic fable?
(He swings his sword down)
(Cut to black)
Man VO: Or a cathartic tragedy?
