I think it's been atleast a month and a half since I was crowned admin, but I want to hear from you guys your serious, constructive criticism of what you think I've done well and what I've done not so well.

i think you're doing fine. My only problem is, i feel there is too many sections. Couldnt we merge some of them?

As far as pros go, you've got the site organized, as far as boards, events, movies, and everything. So that's a major plus. I'm not so good at pointing out negatives.

I think, without discrediting Blag or Vince, you've continually done what's best for this site and at first I didn't like the new sections, but I think they work well and looks better.
You've always had a hands-on approach especially to people reading/reviewing and stuff, you haven't slacked or anything. I think you're possibly the best choice for head admin as you have a very leadership-esque aura about you (if that makes sense)
I think you've done a great job at getting new members too.
I had wondered if the idea of a new colour scheme layout had been scrapped though?
and I wanted to reiterate someone's point they made a while ago, about making the chat a non-member one, it just saves new members to the site having to be made a member by an admin on the chat but admins aren't always online etc, but I don't think you can do it, right?
but yeah I like the SCFCam thing as well. 10/10 aha

Well, let's see. You've been the new head admin of Movie Reels for just over a month so I'll base my judgment based on what I have seen thus far.
Since you took over the reigns from the previous head admin I have certainly seen a boost in activity from the boards in general -- which is a good sign.
I think the only problem which stands right now is the lack of focus at Cine-Plex Theaters. There is a film that was supposed to leave on July 11th but it's still there and 2 others that should also be removed. The Now Playing & Just Opened also needs to be updated in that board. That along with Final Figures & Sales. If you don't want to do it -- there is still 2 other admins on board that are more than capable enough of doing so.
It seems as though Movie Con 4 is shaping up very nicely. You have everything organized & planned out which is very professional. I can see by the schedule that you do plan on investing a lot of your own time into putting together the event which is very nice of you to do.
SCFCam is very cool as well. I can obviously tell that your very serious about your position which is good because Movie Reels needs someone like you to run it.
I'd like to see the past events from Movie Reels: The 2008 Reelies & The E Awards available to the public again. Since they were made private no effort (not you SCF) was made to make them public again. I think they should be again available in full to all members who want to relive events gone by.
Other than that I just give you my praise because your doing a pretty good job thus far. If I come up with any suggestions or ideas after I post this -- I'll just let you know.

I know what you're trying to say here, but I only ever made videos with myself in them private. Any others are nothing to do with me.
Anyway SCF, I've been away for most of your time as admin so I can't comment as much as other people, but you seem to have done a fantastic job. I've still got main mod powers in the chat, so if you want me to find a way to make it non-members only that's fine, but you may just want to create a new chat, as it's probably unfair for me to have powers like that.

Only problem is he put Indy's film "The Fighting Irish" as the description for the movie. Seeing that I wouldn't expect many ticket sales because I for one like to know what the film I'm about to see is about and all if you know what I mean. ~Mr. Vincent |

well, you've taken on board most of my suggestions (schedules at movie con, and the different categories) and it seems to have helped the site out.
the scfcams have been very good and i like your hands on approach to things. i don't want to speak badly about vince or blags but i feel like things are gonna get done with you in charge. i don't know what it is, maybe the fear of an imprending ass kicking if we don't do what you tell us.
as far as the chat box goes blags, scf and i went through a rather lengthy process of setting up a new chat box etc. so we could get rid of the members only setting. unfortunately i had to leave so we never quite got it done. might be worth giving it another shot sometime.
the activity in the cine-plex was kinda meh, but it picked up over the last week or so. i think matt was dealing with some shit so there was a slight delay with tickets, and people weren't ordering them for whatever reason. but there seems to be a couple of films coming out over the next month that hopefully sparks it back to life.
overall, i'd say you're doing a good job scf.

Yea Indy I posted it. You need to do more marketing for it. It's not my job to get people to read it. If we submit a plot synopsis, will it still be posted in the Cineplex? I think that's still a good idea, because anybody who joins after a script is released won't have been here to see the marketing build up. |

I'd also like to call out for Legend and MLP to take some things into their own hands. You guys are admins too. If you see a plot summary missing, or something else, you can change it.
I'm not the only one who is allowed to do things.
