Important Announcement- All Read

Alright, Captain B decided that he needed to focus on more important things, and felt that this site was becoming more of a distraction to him.

With that said, Captain B passed the reigns of ownership down to me. We didn't want to make a big deal out of it, so it all transpired within the last 12 hours or so.

As it stands now, this will be the only personnel change. Legend and Matt will still be my sidekick admins. I'll be a bit more active than Captain B was, because I don't have a lot of stuff going on right now.

There will only be one superhero movie allowed a year, the chatbox will be deleted, and you all have to read/review my films

There will be no rule changes as of now. I think everything is set in place for a friendly site, barring members who think they are above everyone else.

Now, with that out of the way, I'm going to try and move the direction of the site back to where it should be: writing and reading scripts. I don't want to blame anyone specifically for the focus moving off of that, but, I feel it's for the best if we do indeed shift our focus back to what the site was made for.

I'm not going to force you to read anything, because you should have freedom of choice, but I don't want to see films only getting maybe 3-4 tickets, and no reviews. That's ridiculous, and no person should have to put hours of their time only to have it crap out on them because the other members were too busy talking in the chatbox about bullshit. I'm going to try and make an example of this by reading/reviewing all the films that come out. I honestly have no preference about genre, so it doesn't matter.

I'm about 35 pages into 19th Road, and once I am finished, I'll be moving on to The House on Riley Road.

I am not going to babysit anyone, but I want everyone to be responsible, and try and view other's works.

Now, on to some current events.

-The Film Festival is currently bombing. We only have one submission, Hanelle's, and nobody else seems to care, or want to do one. You guys have like 3 weeks to turn in a short story, so if you do indeed plan on writing one, get on it now. Since Captain B left, I'm going to throw out the old voting system, and just post all of the entrants in public. You guys can vote on the winners.

The way it will be graded is simple. One with the most votes gets 1st, second most gets 2nd, and third most gets 3rd.

I'll post Hanelle's today, so you guys can read it. (It's a great script)

I'm going to tweak some things on the site, but if you have any questions at all, ask them in here, or PM me, and I'll try and get back as soon as possible.

I think it's good that you plan to be a more active owner. As much as I love Blaggs, for most of his tenure he seemed like just another member (except for those weekly vlogs. those kicked ass.) and it seemed to me at least like he posted less since Mr. Vincent handed over the power.

I'm also bummed that the Short Film Festival is bombing. It's an event I've been looking forward to. For me personally, I want to submit something, but I've yet to have an idea that strikes me as something I must write. And I'm not the kind of person that can just write something up for the sake of writing something up (unless we're referring to the series finale of that TV show...).

In conclusion, I'm hoping you kick ass.
