AMERICAN WANDERLUSTTRAILERPRODUCTION STILLSFrom the mind of Tom Macdonald, director and producer of such films as Catching Kerby and Silhouette comes the rollercoaster ride of the year. Caleb Followill (Kings of Leon) makes his acting debut as Ben King, more affectionately known as BK, the 26 year old focus character whose life hasn't gone the places he envisioned as a child. After a tragic incident involving his 19 year old brother Adam -- played by Caleb Followill's cousin Matthew (Kings of Leon) -- BK decides to bite the bullet and make his dreams come true. He moves to the City of Angels to pursue a career in film and television. In LA, BK meets Sloan Matzke, played by model Lily Aldridge, real life girlfriend of Caleb Followill also making her acting debut. Sloan helps BK let out suppressed feelings and live life care free. While both of them are on the trail to their dreams, destiny, or possibly something more sinister intervenes. Macdonald sites Zach Braff's cult film Garden State and cult Australian film Candy as great inspiration. Pattinson's gonna wind up being to your projects what Vanessa Hudgens has been to mine: they just keep popping up. My only fear is that you've fallen into the MR trap of announcing movies that wind up getting cancelled, as I know you've also planned for Boomsday and Max to be released this summer as well.

He's only been in 2 of mine, hahaha. I already have 50 pages of American Wanderlust and a nice long plot outline for the rest, so have faith in me.

I already told you, but again, I really do like, not only the notion of the project itself, but also how it appears you will be taking it.
It seems like it will carry over, nicely, the themes from your last film, but do so in a much more grounded, relatable method, and surely a more depressing method, depressing in a personal sense.
Overall though, I am excited for this to come out, because it is always nice to see a new drama film come out, especially one that balances different feelings and emotions like you usually are so good at doing.
