Comedy writer Tom Macdonald has decided to dip his toe into the world of television with his upcoming show Laid starring Catching Kerby stars Amber Heard and Clark Duke. The television show is not based off the aforementioned movie, but is about teenage life. Macdonald is hoping for this to be perceived as a modern day version of Paul Feig and Judd Apatow's hit dramedy Freaks and Geeks, which was a cult hit in the late '90s, and still adored by many to this day. Narration will also be a feature, modeled on another cult television show, Arrested Development. It premieres Tuesday June 2nd, and will air on Movie Reels' Channel 48 every Tuesday night at 9/8c. REGULAR CASTJohn Krasinski as Narrator Amber Heard as Chloe Davis Clark Duke as Tom Robertson Taylor Momsen as Tristan Hayworth Jacob Zachar as Evan Smith Josh Zuckerman as Liam Jackson Jessica Lee Rose as Renee Kerley Stacy Edwards as Mrs. Nash THEME SONG"Laid" by Matt Nathanson

This looks sweet. Love your work TMac. Freaks and Geeks is something I've always wanted to see too.

Cool beans, Mean Gene.
One of these days I'll post another episode of HIMYT-M. I came up with enough ideas for a full season's worth. It's just doing the work that's the problem.

It's a good show Blaggers. And I usually don't like British shows sans The Office, The Black Books and Little Britain.

Ah, I'm gonna have to postpone the pilot until next Tuesday. Sorry guys, I've just been swamped with school work and haven't had the time.
I've also tinkered with the premise slightly.
It will definitely premiere on June 2 though.
