Well, for you ignorant buffoons who missed the Movie Con announcement, Green Lantern is being revived as a television series on Movie Reels. The following is a recent blog post I made (on that blog that you should all keep visiting ) ------------------------------------------------ Hello everybody. After hitting a slight snag with Blaggy Potter in which I find it hard to write anything actually funny at the moment, I've decided to make a switch and work on my upcoming Green Lantern television series for a bit. I've been planning out some episodes and have a specific arc lined up for an entire season's worth of episodes, as well as general plotlines for a few more seasons beyond that. From what I've salvaged from writing the movie, the pilot shouldn't be too hard to finish. It will actually almost all be stuff I already have, although it will have to be changed around a bit to make it more fitting for a TV show. The show will begin with a two-part pilot, with the first part premiering on Movie Reels late this February. For those unfamiliar to the project, it follows the brash, daring, cocky, yet troubled pilot Hal Jordan as he encounters a mysterious dying alien. The first season (or series for you Brits) is expected to be between 9 and 15 episodes. Keep checking the blog for updates on the series as well as Blaggy Potter and Republic in the near future. Green Lantern: The Series hits Movie Reels's TV Section this February.

Sounds great and I think this was a smart move, as it will give you so much more freedom with it. The two part pilot sounds like it is going to very great, indeed!
