Well, as you probably know, I've been toying with the idea of removing the budget system, and I've made my decision. The system, while unique, is annoying for older members and limiting for newer members, so I'm doing away with it. I'll be removing your budget totals from your profiles within the next week or so.
From this point on, you no longer have to calculate a budget for your film. All new films released from this point will stay in the Cine-Plex for eight weeks from its release date (although I may make extra weeks available as prizes in the future), and then there will be a period of six weeks before each film is made freely available in the Movies channel of the TV board. I think this will simplify the submission process a great deal, and I hope you don't mind this fairly major change.

i'm glad you went with my idea of making the movie archive a channel in the tv board. and it's probably for the best the budget system is going out the window.

This is great. This, like Blaggers said, will make it less of a nuisance for older members, and it will definitely be best for newer members.
