The Title of 'Highest Grossing Director' has been awarded to 11 recipients over the past 11 months. From all the previous showdowns/close calls -- I must say that this is the closest battle yet. A mere ticket separates the winner and the runner up and one ticket more separating that from the two 2nd runners up. While this has been a slow month for the box office -- it definitely has been an interesting one. As with all previous titles -- the movie director who brings in the most individual ticket sales is named the Highest Grossing Director of the month. The final sales as of today are 11, 10, 9 and 9. These sales are for the top films at the box office (not necessary #1, #2, #3...etc.) but only one film and one person can win. Who will it be? Find out tonight at 6:00 PM EST when the winner is revealed.
