Frustrated with the state of politics in America, popular comedic talk show host Jack Jacobs not entirely seriously declares his candidacy for President. Before he knows it, he has launched a grassroots campaign beyond his wildest dreams. What is at first thought of as a joke eventually gains natural interest as this comedian challenges the status quo of the two-party system. ---------------------------------------------------------- Wow, that sounded very exciting, I'm sure. But yeah, I intend to start up a new series about this. It will be largely concerning Jack's fight to gain respect and eventually getting national exposure in his impossible campaign as an independent running for President. A lot of it will parallel what's going on in politics on a day-by-day basis and will be set as if it was in the real election going on now with Obama and McCain being the two main candidates in the race. The season will conclude on Monday, November 3rd, the day before election day. It will be mostly a drama with comedy at some points. The campaign is a big thing going on today and a lot of the episodes will actually be either parodying or just commenting on what's going on right now. They'll be released kind of sparatically throughout the weeks. Cast should be coming soon.

I liked it better as Man of the Year/The Colbert Report I was going to mention "Man of The Year" but I figured I should let him stumble it upon himself.

I liked it better as Man of the Year/The Colbert Report I've never seen Man of the Year, but I liked Batman: Origins better as Batman Begins and American Idiot better as the CD without the 5 lines of dialog written in.

OH SNAP! Seriously though, I like this idea, being in election season and placing it the real world, but is there anything else that's going to differenciate it from Man of the Year? Is it going to be very topical and focus on Obama and McCain?
