Movie Lord Productions Interview with Jay Leno!
Matt: Hey, this is the head of Movie Lord Productions, and I have decided to take this interview. Now to the questions.
Q: Well, you seem to have a lot going on, you're working on the Dark Tower, based on the book and that seems to have made a lot of progress since you started. When do you think you'll be done with it?
A: Well, I'm still writing right now. I still don't have anybody to play in it, except for a voice for a CGI raven.
Q: Who will be playing him?
A: Gilbert Gottfreid. Some of you may know him as the voice of Iago in Aladdin. Others may know him from his stand-up comedy. Honestly, I think that he's right for the role. He has accepted our terms on his contract, it really wasn't hard to sign him on.
Q: Looks like you have that going good for you, what are the rumors going around that some movies may be scrapped?
A: Well, I haven't been making any progress with my movies Lead Balloon and Blazing Angels. The actors are currently not cooperating for either movie, and we're still trying to make deals with them.
Q: That doesn't sound good. Hopefully things work out for you there. Now, you're also starting to make TV shows as well as the movies that you have planned.
A: Yes, that's right. I'm making a show called Jake & Elroy, which is supposed to start late in 2008.
Q: I've heard about it, and I've heard that it is bringing a lot of hype into the world of television.
A: It is bringing more excitement around than I had originally expected. I had to throw away the original pilot script, because I didn't expect as much excitement as it got.
Q: Were there any problems, or what went on there?
A: I just didn't think it would satisfy. I'm trying over, and a trailer for the show should be out in a few weeks.
Q: Sounds like you aren't doing too bad there either. What other shows do you have planned?
A: I have a Sonic the Hedgehog show, which has been announced right after the Mario Bros. show.
Q: What's going on there?
A: Well, I have already told the director of Mario Bros. that I have no intentions to interfere with his show, but he did inspire me to get the idea out.
Q: It's nice to see these shows on the air though. You might attract some young audiences.
A: Yes, and I am trying to lead the show that way. I'm trying to make it so it's good for kids, but adults will want to see it too.
Q: Who do you have cast in that show?
A: Well, as Sonic, I have none other than the great Jaleel White.
Q: Urkel, right?
A: Yes, and the Sonic from the original show. He agreed to sign as soon as he heard.
Q: Is that everything that you have planned?
A: No, I have shows called Bad Brother and Dreams Down The Drain. Bad Brother is like the reality show "Big Brother" except that one of the people in the mansion is a serial killer. None of the others know who it is, and they have to vote them off before they are all killed.
Q: That doesn't sound like it will be allowed on TV.
A: If it is approved, I will put it on a channel where kids won't watch it. The last thing that I want is to influence young people that way. Dreams Down The Drain is about a movie star who wants to live a normal life, and a TV commercial actor that wants to become a rock star.
Q: Who is starring there?
A: Fred Goss and Jerry O'Connell. They also appear in the TV show "Carpoolers" together.
Q: It's nice to see you being successful. How is your movie, Ultimate Alliance doing?
A: It's not doing quite as good as we'd hoped, but it's not bombing too bad. We're hoping for good luck in the next few weeks.
Q: I wish you good luck with the movie. Thanks for coming and being part of the interview, good luck with your future works, and we hope to have you again some time.
A: Thanks, I was glad to be here. I hope to be back soon.
