Interview with IAmTheBatman
IATB: Hello, and shoot.
Q: How’s it going with Snow Wars?
A: Very Good. Hugh, Rachel, and Daniel are doing very well. We started filming yesterday.
Q: So who’s Paul Campbell?
A: Well, he’s the starring role in Snow Wars. I saw him on Battlestar Galactaga and I’m like I got to work with this kid.
Q: I heard you’re making a new Batman cartoon.
A: Yes
Q: How’s it going?
A: Very good. We’re penning some scripts right now. I got chatting with the whole B:TAS team and they all joined in like ‘that’.
Q: What’s it like working with Paul Dini and Bruce Timm.
A: Bruce is insane. He like really just draws whenever and I came up next to him and he had about 20 sketches of Mr. J. Paul and I were writing some original scripts and adapting some graphic novels. They’re awesome.
Q: What was your favorite moment so far during making the show?
A: On the first day, I was writing some scripts. Mark Hammil and Kevin Conroy walked up behind me. I yawned and Mark went, “You should really get some sleep old chum.” And then he laughed really loud. I jumped and Kevin Conroy jumped out from the shadows and went, “I’ll save you”.
Q: So how’s the show going to work?
A: We’ll have some episode that are like Out of Continuity and some following a storyline.
Q: I heard you’re also doing a show called Ultimate Showdown.
A: Yes and it is very cool but I’m not saying anything about it.
Q: Ok, what about Harry Potter, how’d you get that job?
A: Well I was in London at a convention. I saw J.K. Rowling and started chatting it up. Then asked her about the show, gave her a script. Now we have a show about it.
Q: Spy?
A: Yep.
Q: Cliché?
A: Hurm…
Q: Ok?
A: That’s what I thought.
Q: Well that’s all the time we have today.
