Entertainment weekly reports that after Director Ziggy27 Completes his two films currently in production (Space whale, a scifi epic about a whale in space, and Moonage Daydream, A biopic about rock singer David Bowie) that he will begin production of a big screen version of friends. In response to negative speculation from critics, Ziggy made these comments
"I know it will be a rough task to take a sitcom, remove the laugh track and completely change the film style and have it be a success but i can assure you i have a great script and all of the actors love it. All i can say about it is that joey WILL be back with the gang." All six members of the cast are officially signed on, and filming is set to begin in january.
It's safe to say that Ziggy is taking a huge gamble with this next picture, but we'll all just have to wait and see if this film will rock or flop.

Will it "look" the same as the show? In that the camera angles will be the same...
Or will the FRIENDS have to save the world? Like in EVERY other "tv-to-movie" series, ever to happen.

My guess is that the film will be very postive at the box-office, but this is coming from a guy who thinks that a superhero with a Carrot head at christmas time is a box-office perfect reciepe

The camera angles will be very different, but we have the sets as close to the originals as possible. The apartments will be the same except with the extra wall that was never seen due to the fixed camera

Well, I happen to think that this will be a huge hit at the box office. I was planning a movie like this after my Marvel movie, but you beat me to it. Good job...
