Synopsis: "Messiah" is a small, intimate drama that asks the question: what if we were met with a true miracle today? The film begins with the news of a woman in Europe who is pregnant, but after numerous tests and studies upon her they've discovered that she is a virgin. It is soon believed that this could be the second coming of Christ. The film will then tell three different stories about three different people and how they react.
One story is about a serial killer who believes that this is Christ returning. He hopes that he will be able to find forgiveness in the child and make amends for his addiction that he cannot beat.
Another story is about an atheist. After the death of his fiancee, he loses all of his faith. He believes that this is nothing more than a freak of nature.
The last story is about a man who is down on his luck. In his opinion, whether this is the Messiah or not, they're all still screwed. But after not working for a while, and being on a bad path, he holds out a slim shred of hope that maybe this is something more.
The film will tell their stories, having all of them intersect and conclude at the shocking ending.
