First Scene of SPACE WHALE

Production for Space Whale is halted, but i thought i would put up one of the scenes i have written already. So without further ado, your first glance at SPACE WHALE


Outside of NASA headquarters

PRESIDENT O'DONNELL

"I will not allow you to continue with operation Space Whale. I am sorry but we just don't have the money at this time.

Colonel Richards

"But sir, all of our research, it will have all been for nothing"

PRESIDENT O'DONNELL

"I'm sorry Colonel."

Colonel Richards walks away angrily. Cut to inside NASA where we see a large water filled tank with a humpback whale inside

Private Walter

"Sir, Does the president approve of Space Whale?"

Colonel Richards pauses for a moment, then smiles

COLONEL RICHARDS

"...Yes. We have his full support. We launch OPERATION: SPACE WHALE in 24 hours. Prepare the whale's Space Suit"

Private walter

"well there is a small problem with the space suit sir"

colonel richards

"Well fix it"

private walter

"alright"

Colonel Richards

"Tomorrow will be a big day for all of us, boys. Tomorrow we launch a whale.... INTO SPACE!!!"

Cut to opening credits

thanks. If you can't tell i'm trying to go with a "Snakes on a plane" kind of feel. It's written as a drama but it is intentionally terrible which makes it funny.
