Ok, I still think that the trailers and posters board should be moved to the main page.
The site was cluttered before but only because of all the entertainment boards. Discussions were to thinly spread out because of all those boards, but now its all together in one place it's fixed a major problem with the site. The trailers and posters boards are hugely important and I really think they need a place on the main page.
Also, I was thinking; before we had a bar at the top which listed all the lastest updates/ films released/ films announced etc. Well it was rarely updated so I can understand putting one back in would be a bad idea, but how about another small chat box at the top of the site only for people to post updates of their work? So if I have a new trailer out, I let people know in that dedicated chat box?
Next, I think we need a social networking page. We need facebook. Having a facebook page would keep us more connected I think. I would do it, but I really think its down to the site's owner (Dazzle) do to it since he is the big boss. So tell me what you think Daz. I personally think its a good idea. I can only see pro's in it. Plus it'd be easier to send out mass messages via facebook calling members attention than it is on this site.
Plus a facebook page could be used to recruit more members. Advertising on facebook; anyone know how much it costs?
Finally, I still think a system should be in place where people have to earn points before they can post any of their own work. I know its not a popular idea, but this site can be awfully selfish sometimes and I think its a good way to fix things.
