So I've been pretty obsessed with L.A. Noire since it released and it's without a doubt the most cinematic game I've ever played, obviously. Such a true to life recreation of the noir genre.
Uncharted is also very movie like, especially the first. Perfectly voice acted and animated, really great playing through.
Super Mario Bros. 3 is pretty fucking cinematic when I'm dying on the ship levels >_> Motherfucker.

I was a big fan of L.A Noire. Really got involved in it. Although I hated the main character Cole. He was a fucking moron cunt and I hated the fact you couldnt control his personal life. Why cheat you cunt?
Uncharted is fantastic. The second one is one of my favourite games. Stunning sequences. The E3 demo for the 3rd game gave me an erection.
The God of War games are right up there. The 3rd being officially the most cinematic game I've ever played.
Shadows of Colossus was beautiful.
MGS4 was practically a movie with game moments thrown in. But I am a huge fan of the Metal Gear series so MGS4 was literally a dream come true.

Cole is a total cunt, but a hilarious one.
"YOU'RE FULL OF SHIT YOU FUCKING NEGRO DIE YOU MOTHERFUCKER"
"Sorry, just doing my job. You know how it is."

Haha, you nailed it. Plus he always seems twitchy. His animation was the only animation in the entire game to seem unrealistic. Like his stupid power stance at the end of a case. UGH!!!

Mass Effect. Even if the elevators could go fuck 'emselves. I'd also say the OG Halo, and the Metal Gear Solid games.

Diddy Kong Racing. Just kidding.
I don't know about cinematic, but the more sports games I play the more realistic they seem to get. Especially football/soccer ones. the last Fifa game was crazy how realistic the ball movement was, the way people ran. It looks fantastic and everything has a very fluid realistic motion to it.
Also, thinking about it; Red Dead Redemption is probably one of the most cinematic looking game. So many times playing through that game I just stopped and paused and had to take in what I was seeing essentially. Cause it looked so damn good.
Oh and playing through Gears of War was like playing through one big long movie action scene at times. Which was fun as hell.
That's all I can think of.

Red Dead, oh god yes. When you're riding out of the forest in the snow after you have the encounter on the cliff, you know the one, and the song starts playing. So satisfying.
