FADE IN:
Father Dass looks at the ensemble of awesomeness before him. Never at once has he seen so many, GADGETS!.
FATHER DASS
You, your from the future?
Doyle looks at him and nods his head.
FATHER DASS
Hold on, can you give me some alone time.
DOYLE
Yes Father.
Doyle walks out of the room, and Father presses the button on his watch, summoning Bishop Jonathon.
FATHER DASS
Who the hell is this kid?
BISHOP JOHNATHON
He is a brilliant student at Rome College.
FATHER DASS
Can't be more than 17!
BISHOP JOHNATHON
Your right, he's 16.
Father is shocked.
FATHER DASS
Where did he get this stuff!
BISHOP JOHNATHON
He built it and he invented many of the items. Kids who read comic books have such imaginations when it comes to weapons.
FATHER DASS
So he's the one you sent back?
BISHOP JOHNATHON
Of course, no one else can touch him when it comes to things like this. By the way, we saw your kill, we are very proud--you are doing your job.
FATHER DASS
How many more are there?
BISHOP JOHNATHON
We don't know.
FATHER DASS
When can I come back?
BISHOP JOHNATHON
You can't.
FATHER DASS
WHAT!
Man, is father Dass angry....
BISHOP JOHNATHON
I'm sorry Father we couldn't tell you--knowing you wouldn't have taken the job if we did.
FATHER DASS
Not even to visit?
BISHOP JOHNATHON
I'm afraid not--you and Doyle must stay here.
FATHER DASS
This is insane!
BISHOP JOHNATHON
I know but think about the millions of lives you will save-- billions!
Father Dass is Having none of it.
FATHER DASS
Fine, I don't need this--if I'm going to do it, its going to be my way!
Father Dass Smashes the watch on the ground, destroying all contact he had with Bishop Johnathon, and the future.
DOYLE
Don't worry I can make more.
FATHER DASS
Not now. But we need to start working together--show me what all this is.
DOYLE
With pleasure.
Doyle walks him around, showing him all of the different things.
DOYLE
These are your laser guns--standard. Red lazer is heat and green lazer is explosion.
FATHER DASS
What about these?
Father looks at a table with church looking items.
DOYLE
These weapons blend in with the church items and crowd. They are each deadly when used correctly--this one is my favorite.
Shows Father what looks like communion bread.
DOYLE
When put inside ones mouth, it sends two green lazers out both ends of the neck, killing them instantly.
FATHER DASS
These things are amazing, I can't wait to kill some demons -
DOYLE
Not yet, that demon that you killed before was a very weak one. This will help you..
Doyle shows him a chamber. It looks like a room inside the room.
FATHER DASS
Training--I'm assuming.
DOYLE
It is the most advanced training room on the market. It advances time.
FATHER DASS
What does that mean?
DOYLE
If you are in there for a minute-- you get an hours worth of training, or 3 hours, depending on what level I set it too. It creates holographic sequences most likely to be faced in the real world.
FATHER DASS
Set it all the way
DOYLE
What? It could be dangerous-
FATHER DASS
All the way, full intensity, for 10 hours. That's an order.
DOYLE
Your not the boss-
Father Dass looks at him with almost anger and Doyle gives in. Father walks into chamber.
COMPUTER VOICE
Training sequence initiated.
DOYLE
Good luck.
He can hear the on goings of what's happening inside the chamber. He hears explosions, screams, and terror. The screen cuts to the clock every few seconds, signaling the time change. Eventually Doyle hears the voice again.
COMPUTER VOICE
Training sequence, complete.
The door opens and steam comes out. You see the shadow of Dass. When he arrives he has a cocky smile even though he is looks like he got run over by a truck.
FATHER DASS
Time to rock.
