FADE IN:

BLACK SHOES.

Black shoes, shaped leather form fitting around it's owners
shoes.

Perfect fitting pants hang above as he strides purposefully
down a corridor.

We follow his feet, as he continues on his way.

The sound of his footsteps fall on the floor, his heels
CLACKING on the floor tiles, giving off a very ominous
feeling.

The clacking of his shoes is heard above all other sounds.

Shadows pass him by, signifying this location is extremely
busy at all times.

The sound of ringing phones, people talking etc. Is distant,
almost as if being heard from under water.

The PERSON carries in their arms a LARGE CASE FILE. Almost
bursting at the seams.

Finally he steps into the busy bullpen of...

INT. FBI OFFICE - BULLPEN -- CONTINUOUS

The Person we now see is a MAN, AFRICAN AMERICAN, mid to late
thirties.

He is a dressed in a smart suit, he appears very tidy and
precise. His focused eyes dart back and forth at his
colleagues who go about their day.

He is AGENT JUDE MATHASSON.

HE APPROACHES A DESK, PLACING THE FOLDER DOWN, UNWINDING the
elastic loop around the binder.

He opens it and pulls out a sheet of paper. He stares at it
for a moment, the contents masked from our view.

He turns towards a WHITE BOARD.

On it, various pictures, news articles and clippings. With
BLACK, RED, BLUE, every colour that you can think, lines of
drawn on the board, connecting each and every picture and
clipping.

He pins the paper to the poor, on it is a grainy picture of
JOHN SMITH.

He takes a pen before drawing a line from the picture to an
address...

"5-0-3 WILLOW PARK"

He steps back, taking in the whole board...

REVEAL: The White board stretches out across almost a whole
wall, over flowing on the adjacent walls and even ceiling.

It contains files upon files, pictures upon pictures,
featuring familiar faces. WALLACE, CARTER, LYRA, BLACK,
CEREGHINO, FRETWELL...

Clippings of news articles about people disappearing.

Aerial photographs of the RETRIEVERS BASE.

Agent Jude Mathasson is clearly investigating not only John
Smith but the Retrievers as well.

FADE OUT.
