We see a huge white temple in a dark underground city. Light breaks out from the sky but just in small amounts. A group of 3 older man, with long white beards and robes walk beside a dark haired, pale skinned woman named Arella who is 9 months pregnant. They all rush into the temple and into a room with a bed. The walls and floor are stone and the bed looks just about as comfortable. Arella lays on the bed and one man grabs a rag and begins to wipe the sweat off of her head. The other tells her something and she spreads her legs, he holds a cloth and is prepared to catch something. The third wise man is mixing a potion of some sorts. She screams in terror. Outside of a small window a set of two rows of three yellow eyes look from the darkness. The older man waiting is named Aunder, and he is now holding a child in his hands- Aunder- It's a girl... -Cut to Rachel Roth; 17 years of age. Short black hair and a thin figure with dark bags under her eyes and shockingly pale skin. She waits outside a old looking house with the wind blows softly- Bully- (VO) What are the freaks doing? Rachel Roth- (VO) Where minding are business. Something you're surely not. -Cut to a lunchroom. Rachel sits at a table while a bully looks down at her- Bully- Watch your tongue... you stupid b*tch... -Rachel leaps forward and grabs him by the neck and pushes him toward the ground- Josephine Miller- (VO) Rachel, you have to learn to control yourself... -Cut to Rachel in the counselor’s office- Josephine Miller- I mean... you can't keep these feelings all bottled in... -Cut to a forest with twisted shapes in the form of trees. Rachel puts her hands togehter and a glowing purple light begins to leak from her palms. Cut to Rachel laying on her bed. The room is dull and gray. Kathy, her forest parent comes in- Rachel Roth- It’s over. It’s all over. Kathy- Look, Rachel… I know it’s a tough world… you’re a strong person, you’ve been through worse. -The screen fades to black. Two pairs of three yellow eyes glow- Trigon- (VO) I only want what I created. -Cut to Rachel on the bus. Alex, a dark haired teen sits next to her- Alex- My name is Alex. Rachel Roth- I'm Ra, Ra... Rachel! -Rachel lets out a small yet nervous chuckle. Alex shakes her hand- Alex- It's nice to met you... -Rachel keeps firmly holding his hand. Alex lets go- Rachel Roth- I'm sorry... Alex- No, it's alright. -Cut back to Kathy and Rachel- Rachel Roth- -And... and... I just can't stop thinking about him Kathy- Your first love, I'm glad I can see it. -Cut to a fair. Rachel and Alex are in the ferries wheel and it's hit the peek of night, a grand amount of colorful lights are below them. Alex begins to move toward Rachel and she does the same, they lips meet together and they begin to kiss passionately- Trigon- (VO) Her heart will forever be consumed by hatred. -Cut to Rachel standing outside a burning house screaming then a quick cut to her floating in a destroyed park with dark rays shooting from her hands outlined with purple- The Raven -Cut to Rachel in a hallway slamming her locker, crying- Nora Zehetner Christopher Lee Emile Hirsch Zooey Deschanel John Hurt Patrick Wilson Billie Whitelaw Shia LaBeouf Aaron Yoo December 26 AND NOW FOR OUR FEATURE PRESENTATION: RICOCHET FIGHT by indy42 FADE IN: Desert road- day. A single paved road runs through the desert, and a single black truck drives through it. INDY42 PRESENTS Inside the truck, DARREN, a 34 year old clumsily shaved man, next to CLAY, a 40 something war veteran- ready for anything. Clay sits obsessively cleaning his pistol. Did I mention I used it to Darren mouths the words as Clay says them- CLAY -save my life back in Desert Storm? DARREN Same old shit, different day. EDWARD NORTON CUT TO: Back of the truck. The tarp over the back of the truck opens, revealing NATHAN JACK laying underneath. Nathan props himself up, and raises his hands triumphantly. He is british, wears a New York yankees baseball cap and a jeans jacket. Then the dust hits his eyes. jack Ack! He covers his hands with his eyes, then turns around, facing the front of the truck. He pulls himself over to the side of the truck and shimmies forward toward the driver's seat. RICOCHET FIGHT. INT. Truck. JACK APPEARS IN THE WINDOW! JACK Pull over! Pull ov- Clay FIRES his gun at the window. Jack ducks and slips, falling off the truck and into the dirt. DARREN Jesus fucking christ, Clay, you almost hit me! EXT. Truck. Jack stands up and begins running towards the car, firing his gun wildly. INT. Truck. CLAY Pull over. The truck pulls over. EXT. TRUCK. Jack stops running. JACK Yes... Clay gets out of the truck and fires towards Jack. jack Oh, fuck. Jack dives out of Clay's line of sight. CLAY Fuck! Clay shoots out the rest of his bullets, sits down behind the truck and begins to manually reload them. Jack shoots back, until he sees Darren begin to pull a BAZOOKA out and point it at Darren. JACK Those things are fucking illegal! DARREN Who the FUCK cares!??!?!?! Darren fires the Bazooka, and Jack dives out of the way, as a MOUNTAIN of dirt is blown sky-high. Jack fires back, hitting Darren in the hand. DARREN FUCK! We see that Darren's index finger on his right hand has been completely blown off, and the stump bleeds wildly. JACK That's disgusting. DARREN Fucking motherfucker! Darren gets out of the truck, pulls out a handgun and points it at the now-exposed Jack. JACK Sorry! Jack shoots his gun, and hits Darren's left hand, blowing off his other index finger. DARREN OH FUCK!!! NOOOOO! Clay finishes reloading and puts his gun out, and without looking begins firing towards Nathan. Darren's head explodes. JACK Oh, fuck! Jack is sprayed with blood. He begins to crawl away from the bleeding body. JACK Fucking nasty! Jack crawls into the driver's seat of the truck. He looks into the back seat, and we see... A little girl. She is about 6 years old, and her hands are covered her ears, eyes glued open in fear, lying down in the backseat. JACK (softly) Don't worry... Everything is going to be all right... A bullet smashes through the back window, hitting Jack in the shoulder. JACK (loudly) OH, FUCK!!!! The little girl jumps, scared. JACK Fuck fuck fuck fuck... Jack moves out of the car, back onto the dirt, grabbing the bazooka. He loads another rocket. JACK Fucker, fucker, fucker.... Clay runs toward the other side of the truck. Jack stands back up, and closes the truck door. JACK FUCKING TOURETTES! Jack stands up and fires the bazooka through the two windows, impaling Clay, knocking him back 20 feet and finally EXPLODING. Jack throws the bazooka down and crawls back into the car. JACK Are you ready to go home? The little girl nods. SMASH TO BLACK. FADE IN: A Government building. Title on Screen: Langely, Virginia. JON DOE walks through the hallway, past a couple of guards laughing at a water cooler, and into a door marked INTERROGATION CHAMBER LENNON. INT. INTERROGATION CHAMBER. Inside the room, Jon Doe sits. Across from him is NATHAN JACK. Jack wears the same outfit he wore before, except with a tie and a nice shirt under his jacker. doe Hello, Mr. Jack. Jack smiles. JACK Howdy. doe So... you're a... mercenary? JACK Mercenary, gun-for-hire, longcoat, whatever, whatever. doe We hear you were involved in that kidnapping case- with the er- beauty pageant girl. JACK That was me, yup. doe You killed two men, yes? JACK Uh, no. I killed one, the other was killed by friendly cross-fire. Jack motioned with his hands. JACK (cont) Who writes your reports? DOE (ignoring him) We have a proposition, Mr. Jack. JACK Uh, it's just Jack. I have two first names. It's funny, I legally have an underscore for a last name. My parents had a sick sense of humor- doe Do you snort cocaine? JACK What? What is this, free association interrogation? doe Answer the question, Mr. Jack. jack No. I swallow cocaine. Like normal people. doe Is that a yes? JACK Are you retarded? DOE Are you insulting a government- JACK I retract my last statement. No, I do not use cocaine. I smoked a joint in college, though. I know what cocaine looks like. doe You have a week. You leave in 8 days. Doe stands up. JACK I don't think I've said, "I accept" yet. Doe smiles. doe No need. Doe exits the room, leaving Jack flabbergasted. CUT TO: Sushi Resturaunt- Night. Jack sits at a small two-person table across from CLINT, a slightly overweight 30-something. michael This shit sounds real, man. JACK No, really. Jack attempts to pick up a sushi roll with his chopsticks, but it slips halfway towards his mouth and into his lap. CLINT Why do you think they picked you? Jack picks up the roll, smothers it in soy sauce, and dumps it into his mouth. JACK (mouth full) I dunno. He swallows. JACK Ugh.... I dunno, maybe they like my accent. Clint snickers. CLINT What do you need? JACK My usual. Clint passes a heavy burlap sack over to Jack. clint Two desert eagles, 6 15 bullet cliips each. Jack rifles through the bag. JACK You know, since I'm on the CIA's dime here, I think I'll take one of those new-fangled sniper rifles. CLINT Those are illegal in California. Jack smiles. JACK Who said anything about California? CUT TO: Airport- Day. Jack carries a comically large suitcase as he walks past a sign reading "WELCOME TO MEXICO." CUT TO: Hotel Room- Day. Jack puts down his bags with a heavy exhale and shakes his shoulders. He sits down on the bed and begins to rub them. JACK Ow. The phone rings. Jack looks over, then picks up. JACK ....Hello? doe (OS) Oh good, you have arrived. Did you get our package in the mail? Jack scans the room, finally setting his eyes on a UPS package in the corner of the room. JACK I wasn't aware CIA used UPS to send super-secret packages. DOE (OS) So you got it. JACK "What can brown do for you"? DOE (OS) Open it. Inside is the location and time when all of the cocaine will be at port. And a bomb. JACK Of course, of course. doe When you are finished, we have a safe-house for you in Mazatlan. Be there. CLICK!. The phone shuts off. Jack puts the phone down slowly. Jack runs over and rips open the package. Inside he finds a map which he throws on the bed, then inspects the large C4 stack. JACK Ouch. He clicks something, and it begins to beep. JACK Oh, shit! He presses it again, and it goes silent. He sighs in relief. CUT TO: Office- Night. A figure strolls across the office floor. Sitting in the chair is TONY SCOTT, a tall, mustached American man. Standing in fron of him is a large figure. figure Will everything go as planned? Everything on my end is perfect. scott Don't worry, it will be perfect. figure With any luck, we'll be rich by the end. scott Oh, it's not luck, my friend. Scott looks around and glances at his desk. SCOTT More than luck. CUT TO: Dock- Day. Scott walks towards the dock, and inspects the piles of crates being loaded onto a boat by a crane. 3 Guards follow him. Scott stops to put on his circular sunglasses. scott It's gonna be a good day. CUT TO: A taxi pulls up about a block away from the dock. Nathan Jack steps out, dressed in his usual garb, with a backpack slung over his back. He begins to walk towards the dock. taxi driver Yo! I need my fare! Jack turns back. JACK Oh, right. Sorry, how much do I owe you? TAXI DRIVER 500, gringo. JACK What? 500 dollars? TAXI DRIVER Pesos! JACK What's the conversion rate? CUT TO: Scott walks along the crates. scott Make sure all of these crates get done by noon, ok pedro? PEDro Yeah, Tony. We'll get it done. SCOTT Good. He turns around and sees his guards sitting and smoking. scott Oy! I'm not paying you to destroy your lungs! Pick up your toys and get on alert. The guards slowly get up. scott Now! Hurry the fuck up! Let's go! CUT TO: Nathan Jack runs stealthily behind the crates. We see Scott in the background, ordering his guards around. SCOTT (IN BACKGROUND) Go! Go! Nathan crouches and holds up his backpack. He pulls out a small black box. CUT TO: Scott and his guards. SCOTT Be on alert. Guard 1 What, nothing happens around here. scott Well, you never know. CUT TO: Crates. Nathan climbs onto the top of the stack of crates, and drops the backpack. guard 4 Hey! Nathan looks up and sees a guard pointing at him GUARD 4 Hey! JACK SHIT. CUT TO: On the ground. SCOTT Kill him! CUT TO: Crates. Nathan tries to climb back down, but machine gun fire smacks the metal at his feet. Covering his face, he runs back alond the crates. He pulls out his desert eagles and fires them at GUARD 4. guard 4 Aah! Guard 4 collapses, dead. Jack jumps from one crate to another, firing his desert eagles downwards. Guard 3 and Guard 5 climb up with a ladder onto the second crate pile. Jack shoots guard 3. guard 3 (Wilhelm Scream) Guard 3 falls backwards, and takes Guard 5 with him as they tumble and smack the ground hard. More bullets ricochet off the metal around Jack. JACK Augh! Shit! Jack reaches the end of one stack and jumps onto another. He fires and hits another guard, who falls off into the ocean. Scott watches the scene. He turns to a guard behind him. scott Give me your machine gun. The guard hands Scott the machine gun. Scott begins firing with expert aim. Jack ducks, hitting the ground and covering his face. JACK Crap! Crap, crap, crap!!! Scott's gun clicks. Jack looks up, and seeing no bullets, stands up. Scott turns to his guard. SCOTT Give me your bullets. guard 6 No, man, I need them. SCOTT Give them to me, NOW! GUARD 6 I need 'em! Scott pulls out a handgun and shoots Guard 6 in the stomach. GUARD 6 Auuugh! Guard 6 collapses as Scott takes his remaining bullets. SCOTT Listen to me next time. Scott loads the gun with the bullets. Jack continues to run along the crates. Scott continues shooting. Jack covers his face with his hands as he shoots back blindly. EFFECT: SLO-MO. Jack fires the gun as Scott dives out of the way behind the nearest stack of crates. Jack runs and jumps onto another stack of crates, and out of Scott's vision. Jack runs, jumps, and grabs the crate which is still hanging in mid-air from the crane. A guard runs along the other stack and is jumping on the crate as well. JACK NO! Jack fires at the lock holding the crate closed, and TONS of bags of cocaine come raining down on the jumping guard. GUARD 8 AUGH! The guard, and all the bags, fall into the ocean. Jack climbs up onto the crane itself. Scott comes forward with a BAZOOKA. Jack sees this. JACK Oh, fuck, not another one. Scott FIRES. The crate explodes in slow motion as Jack jumps off, twisted awkwardly in mid-air. JACK (SLOW) FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK..... Normal Motion: He lands on his feet hard, rolling over. We hear something snap. JACK Oh, FUCK! Scott fires his machine gun. Jack turns, takes one last look at Scott. Then he dives into the ocean. SCOTT Not good. CUT TO: Beach- Day. As children play in the surf with their beach balls, NATHAN JACK emerges fully clothed from the water, and the kids quickly move away from him. The people on the beach stare as Jack walks out of the water and across the beach, still soaking. JACK Hi. He sits down at a bench and takes out the black box from his jacket. He clicks the button. He doesn't hear anything. He looks over, hits the button again. We hear a low mumbling. Jack looks over and sees some smoke. He frowns. JACK Fucking disappointing. He stands up and begins to walk towards the road. JACK Taxi! Taxi! voice Mr. Jack, sir? Jack turns around and sees two smartly-dressed men, ELLIOT and JONES. JACK CIA? jones Yes, sir. We have orders to take you to the safe house in Mazatlan. JACK I didn't know I had to be babysat. jones You do, sir. JACK What? elliot Nothing. Jack looks down at his broken ankle. JACK Will you pay for my health insurance? elliot That's the dangers of the job, sir. JACK I'm supposed to say that, right? Jack puts on an american accent. JACK "It comes with the territory!" JONES Please come with us. They begin to walk off. Jack hobbles along after them. JACK ..Wait up! CUT TO: A large house in the middle of the Mexican forest. It is up in the trees, almost like a tree house. A car drives up on a single dirt road. Jack emerges from the back seat, on crutches. JACK Huh. I didn't know the CIA commissioned the Swiss Family Robinson to design their super-secret safe houses. ELLIOT There is an elevator inside the tree. Jack smirks. JACK Of course. CUT TO: Inside the safe house. Jack puts his stuff down. JACK Umm.. How long do I stay here? ELLIOT Usually 1 to 2 weeks. JACK Usually? How many people stay here? ELLIOT We have visitors every once in a while. JACK Not all secret government mercenaries, I hope. Jack laughs. jones No, sir. JACK Yeah, well, work on that sense of humor, okay mate? CUT TO: INT. Limo- Night. SAL, a 60-something gangster, and JOE, a 40-year old protoge, sit in the limo, drinking beer. From the front seat, the window opens and Scott pops his head in. SCOTT Sal. Joe. sal Scotty. Haven't seen you in ages. Scott points to two briefcases on the floor. SCOTT There. Sal and Joe pick up the briefcases, revealing identical high-tech sniper rifles. SAL High-tech bribery? joe Nice. I'm in. scott Nathan Jack. Mercenary. You need to kill him as cleanly as possible. joe Why do you need two of us? scott Because the hit is a professional. He's CIA. SAL CIA? SCOTT I appears they are outsourcing. joe Thats... weird. scott Yeah. SAL So.. a bullet in the head? Scott Just.. kill him. Okay? JOE (snickers) Is that all? scott I also need you to take care of something... Scott nods his head outside to a girl sitting and drinking with Scott's guards. SCOTT She's CIA. joe Ouch. Scott turns back. SCOTT Kill her, then dump her body near Jacks'. SAL Why? Scott smiles. SCOTT Because the last thing the CIA needs is a sex scandal. CUT TO: Safehouse- Night. INT. Safe House. Jack sleeps peacefully. EXT. Safe house. The limo pulls up. Joe and Sal get out, followed by the girl. girl What are we doing here? JOE We are here on Tony's orders. GIRL Why am I here, then? Sal pulls out a handgun, and points it at the girl. SAL Cut the bullshit, honey, how long have you been working for the CIA? CUT TO: Inside Safe House. Jack's eyes open. He gets up, and walks out of the room. CUT TO: EXT. SAFEHOUSE. GIRL I don't know anything! SAL Stop lying! GIRL I'm not lying! SAL Fuck this, man. He SHOOTS the girl in the chest/shoulder area, and the girl falls back onto the ground. CUT TO: INT. SAFEHOUSE. Jack is in the kitchen, making tea. He turns on the TV. CUT TO: EXT. SAFEHOUSE. Joe and Sal walk swiftly through the brush. Sal motions for Sal to go another way. sal Split up! They split up, and Sal begins to climb up a hill. INT. SAFEHOUSE. Jack watches TV while sipping his tea. The TV shows an overhead helicopter view of the rubble at the dock. JACK Woot! Jack gets off the couch- PHUT! PHUT! There is the sound of muffled gunfire. Jack's cup shatters, and the TV turns back as a bullet hits it. JACK FUCK! Jack dives behind the counter as more sniper shots hit the floor. JACK Jones!! Elliot!! Jack runs crouched into his room. The bullets cease for a second. Jack exhales. PHUT! PHUT! It's coming from another direction! We zoom through Jack's window, through the jungle and onto a hill, where we see SAL sniping. BOOM! INT. ROOM. Jack grabs his sniper rifle off the all. He loads it. Jack dives behind the bed as shots are fired through the window. In the doorway, Elliot appears. ELLIOT Get to the bunker! JACK Get the fuck down! Elliot is shot in the chest, and collapses into the room. JACK Damnit! Jack stands up, holds his sniper rifle up and FIRES! EXT. SAFE HOUSE. Sal ducks some of Jack's fire. He brings his walkie-talkie to his mouth. SAL Joe! He has a sniper too! CUT TO: Joe's perch- NIGHT. Joe hears this. Joe Shit! Joe looks into the scope. INT. SCOPE: We watch as the crosshairs scan all the windows and doors for a figure. JOE (OS) I don't see him... CUT TO: Safehouse- Night. Jack crouches behind a doorframe. Inside the room we see Joe's sniper rifle reflecting. Jones appears in the hallway. jones Jack, what the hell is going on? JACK I don't know!!! jones This location is level 8 classification!!! JACK .. Is that high? JONES YES! JACK Oh, okay. Another shot of sniper fire snaps Jones and Jack back into the situation. JONES Where is Elliot? JACK He's dead! JONES Oh, shit, are you sure? Jack nods towards the body. JACK He's just resting his eyes for a minute. Jack smiles. JACK Hold this. Jack grab's Elliot's body, and shoves it at Jones. JONES Hey! Jack positions his sniper rifle on Jones's shoulder. JONES This is wrong. JACK I'm sure he wouldn't mind. RUN! Jones runs, followed by Jack, towards the window. CUT TO: EXT. Safehouse. Joe begins to fire. INT. SAFEHOUSE. Bullets smack into Elliot's body, blood spraying out. JONES This is disgusting! JACK Keep moving! Jack spots Joe. JACK There he is. BOOM! Jack fires the rifle. CUT TO: EXT. SAFEHOUSE. We see the bullet in slo-mo, go through the sniper scope, and into Joe's head. CUT TO: INT. SAFEHOUSE. JACK Got 'em. PHUT! PHUT! More sniper fire from the other side. Jones dumps Elliot's body. jones That was wrong. JACK It worked. JONES You know the windows in thie building can be shut out with steel at the touch of a button? Jack shrugs. JACK I like to do it the old fashioned way. So shoot me. A bullet grazes Jack's arm. JACK SPEAK OF THE MOTHERFUCKING DEVIL! They hide behind a wall. JONES What do we do? JACK What.. What do we do? You're the CIA guy!!! CUT TO: EXIT- SAFEHOUSE. NIGHT. Sal talks on his walkie-talkie. SAL Joe! Joe! Damnit! He looks into his sniper scope. SAL Where are you, you little son of a b- SLICE. Sal's mouth fills with blood, and he collapses, revealing THE GIRL standing on the other side, dagger in hand. She puts her hand over her gunshot wound, then falls over. CUT TO: INT. SAFEHOUSE. Jack looks through his scope, and sees Sal's dead body. JACK He's dead. Jones looks up. jones You? JACK No. It wasn't me. JONES Well than who the hell was it? CUT TO: EXT. Safehouse- Night. Jack and Jones walk up to the bodies of Sal and the girl. JACK Who is that? Suddenly, the girl's eyes pop open! She gasps for air. GIRL Help! JONES She's still alive! JACK No shit! GIRL Help.. Ma! Jack bends down. JACK She's shot. Go get medical... stuff. JONES That's pretty descriptive. JACK Go! Jack runs off. GIRL Are you... are you CIA? JACK Not exactly. GIRL Arielle Coen. Agent. JACK Oh shit... I didn't shoot you, did I? ARI No... It was that guy. She points at Sal. JACK Ah. Who's he? ARI Sniper. Works for Tony Scott. JACK ..Who's he? ARI Mob Boss. Drug Kingpin. Cocaine smuggler. Camera zooms in on Jack. JACK Oh...shit. CUT TO: Dock- NIGHT. Scott walks along the Tony walks up to Pedro, who is writing on his clipboard. SCOTT How much did we lose? PEDRO Looks like over half. scott Damnit! Scott continues walking. A car pulls up next to him, shining it's lights at him. A passenger steps out and into the light. passenger You failed, Scott. Cocaine blown, Jack alive, AND Sal and Joe are dead. You.... failed miserably. scott Don't blame this on me. You planned it. I can't execute a plan that's failed from the beginning. PASSENGER How hard is it... Beat. PASSENGER To kill a man? scott This particular one? Very hard. PASSENGER This is over. Kill him, and we're finished. The passenger returns to the car, which drives off. Scott stands there, dazed. CUT TO: SAFEHOUSE- BEDROOM. Ari sleeps, a large bandage wrapped around her shoulder. We dolly outwards and see Nathan and Jones arguing. JACK We need to leave. They know I am here. jones We need to calm down and, call Mr. Doe. JACK I'm compromised. I need to leave. Jack walks out of the room. He pauses, turns back, walks back into the room. JONES What? Jack grabs the bag with his guns. JACK Bye. Jack walks over to the elevator, and climbs in. The door close. I had nothing else to do. JACK Working for the CIA and Tony Scott? ARI Yes. JACK Were you Scott's girlfriend or something? Jack laughs. He stops when he see's Ari's serious as hell face. ARI Yeah. 2 years of my life. Ari sighs. Jack knows not to go any further. He turns to the front seat. JACK How much longer, Jonesy? JONES Do you have some kind of genetic need to talk? JACK If I didn't flap my gums to much I wouldn't know where to feed myself, now would I? jones Just... be quiet. JACK Fine! I will! EXT. CAR- DAY. Two red cars begin to drive towards the blue car. JACK uh... I hate to say this, but we have company. ARI How about, "We're being tailed". You don't have to be so cliched. JACK Well, fuck me, right? ARI Don't swear. JACK I will swear all I fucking want. ARI I don't swear ever. JACK Well, then, you've never been in a gunfight before. RATATATAT! The red cars begin to spray bullets at the blue car. JACK Welcome to hell! Jack takes out his gun and fires back through the smashed back window. The red cars swerve, and now they are on either side of the blue car. One red car smashes into the blue car, which smashes into the other red car, creating a car sandwich. JACK Jones, get down! All three of them duck as gunmen fire into the car. The firing ceases for a sec. JACK Stay here. Jack gets up and punches the gunman through the windows, then crawls over the gap and into one of the red cars. ARI What the FUCK are you doing??? INT. RED CAR. Jack punches the gunman towards the door. RATATAT! The bullets go through the blue car, and into the red car, where they hit the other gunman, sending him through the door and onto the road. JACK Jesus! Jack ducks against the seat, freaked by the close call. JACK Whoa! There is a lull in the gunfire. Jack propells himself into the front seat. He shoots the driver, and dumps him into the road. JACK Fuck! INT. Blue car. Jones SLAMS on the breaks, and the blue car falls out of the sandwich, leaving the two red cars. INT. Red Car. Jack pulls out his gun and shoots through the windows toward s the other red car. INT. Blue Car. Jones and Ari lean out the windows with machine guns, firing towards the other red car. INT. RED CAR. JACK You like bullets, assholes? Jack continues firing into the red car across the street. JACK I'll give you a fucking lead sandwich! INT. OTHER RED CAR. The gunman yells to the driver. gunman I need more bullets! dRIVER In the back! GUNMAN I don't have any more in the back! DRIVER Fuck! INT. RED CAR. Jack SLAMS on the brakes, and the red car flies ahead. JACK Suckers. The red car swerves around in a graceful motion, and begins to drive towards Jack. JACK Oh. A little game. Jack hits his gas and drives towards them. SHOT OF: Speed meter. The speed is hitting 60...70... JACK Chicken, huh? The cars get CLOSER. JACK I like chicken. THEY ARE ABOUT TO CRASH! JACK OH SHIT! The two cars COLLIDE, and the other red car flips over on top of Jack's red car, upside down. jack Whoa. The driver of the other red car falls through both windshields and into the passenger seat of Jack's car. JACK Fuck you! Jack begins kicking and punching at the driver. DRIVER AAAAH! The driver falls out of the car, and onto the road. JACK Yeah! The gunman from the top car leans out and points his gun at Jack- Jack hits the brakes, and the other red car slides off and hits the pavement hard. JACK Whew. The Blue car SMASHES into the downed red car just for good measure. Jack gets out of the red car and walks over to the blue car. JACK Everyone all right? JONES Yeah. JACK Not you. Ari, you all right? CUT TO: ROOM- NIGHT. All is quiet except for a light coming from the bathroom. Jack opens his eyes. He stands up and walks over to the bathroom. SCOTT We kill him tonight, while he sleeps. CUT TO: EXT. HOTEL- NIGHT. Jack emerges, walks across the street to the coffee shop. A few moments later, a car pulls up and SCOTT and 3 guards get out, guns held high. SCOTT Let's go! CUT TO: LOBBY- Night. Scott and his men walk towards the elevators. The elevators open, revealing- jones Hi. Jones sprays bullets towards them, but they all duck out of the way. Jack runs into the lobby, shooting one of his desert eagles. scott Stairs! He and his men run up the stairs. Jack runs into the elevator. joneS Here. Jones hands him a shotgun. jack Let's kick some ass. The door closes. CUT TO: Hotel Hallway. Scott and his men run up to the door labeled 3491- SCOTT Now, men, I want her ali- BLAM!BLAM! The door is obliterated, and one of the guards is knocked back into the wall, and onto the ground in a bloody heap. SCOtt Fuck! Ari is standing behind the door, shotgun in hand. She looks supremely pissed off. ARI (cocks gun) Fuck off, assholes! The elevator door opens, and Jack and Joe run out, shooting. With nowhere to go, Scott and his duck behind a wall. JACK Who's that? ARI It's Tony Scott! JACK You're shitting me. Jack leans against the wall and begins reloading his shotgun. Scott leans out and fires at them. Jack, Jones, and Ari take cover behind the destroyed door frame. ARI What do we do now? CUT TO: Hallway. Scott looks around. SCOTT (softly) Up the stairs. Now! CUT TO: Room. JACK The stairs. ELEVATOR! Jack, Jones, and Ari burst from the room, firing at Scott and his men as they run up the stairs. JACK Elevator! They sprint to the still-open elevator, and climb inside. JACK C'mon... The door remains open. Jack clicks the "DOOR CLOSE" button. JACK C'mon... The door finally closes. JACK (exasperated) Jesus! CUT TO: HOTEL ROOF- DAY. Scott and his guards run onto the roof, and look around. Scott Look around for them. Guard two walks to the side of the roof, and looks down. NATHAN JACK COMES OUT OF NOWHERE AND SHOOTS GUARD 2, who falls over the side of the roof. GUARD 2 (wilhelm scream) Scott looks back. scott There! Over there! Guard 3 runs over, and gets shot by Ari. SCOTT STOP! JACK FUCK! Jack runs and TACKLES Scott. Scott tries to kick Jack off, but Jack manages to punch Scott in the gut. SCOTT Oof! Scott pulls away from Jack, and they both stand up. SCOTT Fuck you! Scott PUNCHES Jack in the face, and Jack falls back, kicking Scott in the stomach. JACK Fuck me? Fuck you! Scott doubles over, and Jack punches him in the head. scott That all you got? Scott runs into Jack, and they both fall over. Scott stands up and kicks Jack in the crotch. JACK Motherfucker! Scott punches Jack in the head, and Jack collapses. Jones runs towards them. jones Hey! Scott pulls out his handgun and SHOOTS Jones in the stomach. Jones collapses. JACK Fucker! Ari runs over and places her gun on Scott's temple. ARI Put the fucking gun down. scott Blow me. CLICK. Ari's gun is empty. Scott grabs her and holds his gun to her head. scott Ah, this feels better. SCOTT Put down the gun, Nate. jones YOU put the gun down! Jones stands, Shotgun pointed directly at Scott. SCOTT I thought I killed you. jones What, you don't think CIA agents wear protection? scott I didn't know you had that much sex, Jones. jones Shut the fuck up, Scott. I meant kevlar. Bullet proof vest. scott No shit! jones You didn't realize, you fucking moron. SCOTT Well, fuck me, right? Suddenly, a figure approaches. figure Gun down, Jack and Jones. scott Thank you for showing up. The figure walks into the light, revealing it is MR. DOE. mr. doe That is a direct order. JACK Oh, what the f- MR. DOE Guns...down. jones You? A double agent? MR. DOE Kinda. I work with Tony, and I work for the CIA. You, Jack, were supposed to die at the dock. JACK Turns out I'm not that easy, huh? MR. DOE You are as hard to kill as the henchman in Torn Curtain. JACK I prefer the 39 steps. CUT TO: EXT. LARGE MANSION- DAY. Establishing Shot. INT. Interrogation Room. Morning light streams into the room. Scott stands in front of Ari, who is tied to a chair. scott How much do you know, honey? ari Go fuck yourself. Scott slaps Ari. scott I'm only gonna ask you one more time. What do you know. ari You're gonna have to kill me. scott Well, I will anyway, bitch. ari That was unneccecary. Scott punches Ari in the face. scott No, see THAT was unneccesary. CUT TO: EXT. MANSION- DAY. A car pulls up about a block away. Out steps Nathan Jack. He leans over to the driver, JONES. jack I am good. Thank you. jones I'll see you soon, Nate. The car drives off. Nathan turns back, towards the mansion, a look of pure determination on his face. He RUNS towards the front gates, and climbs over them. CUT TO: Interrogation Room- Day. Scott loads his gun in front of Ari. CUT TO: ROOF OF GARAGE. Jack stands on top of the garade, poised to jump. CUT TO: Interrogation Room- Day. Scott raises his gun... CUT TO: Roof of Garage- Day. Jack jumps and SMASHES through a window, into the mansion. CUT TO: Interrogation room- Day. Scott hears the noise and runs off. Ari exhales. CUT TO: ROOM- DAY. Jack is punched by a large guard. Jack falls to the ground, dazed. He turns his head to look at a TV screen with President Ronald Reagan giving a speech. The henchman also turns his head and Jack kicks him in the crotch. Jack stands up, punches him. CUT TO: Hallway- Day. Scott grabs machine guns in an armory, instructing all of his men. scott Kill him! NOW! The run out of the room. CUT TO: Room- Day. Jack punches the henchman again...and again. Jack knees him in the head, and the henchman collapses, unconcious. Jack raises his head and pulls out his desert eagles. jack Let's go. guards (OS) Go! Go! Jack hears footsteps, and runs and jumps into the hallway, shooting guards running towards him. CUT TO: MAIN HALL-DAY Scott grabs a hand-held machine gun, and yells to his guards. scott Go! GO! CUT TO: HALLWAY. Jack runs up a stairwell. At the top, he shoots a guard as he brings up a gun. jack That's right! Jack looks up and begins to RUN. Upcoming is a rotunda, which directly below it is the main hall. On the other side, more guards and assembling. In between is a chandelier. Jack jumps, steps on the chandelier, and catapults himself to the other side, shooting the guards. guards AAAUGH! Below in the main hall, chandelier material rains down on Scott and his men, who are firing upwards at him. A guard is standing, and it HIT IN THE EYE by a shard of chandelier. guard FUCK! AUGH! CUT TO: THIRD FLOOR. Jack runs along until he reaches a door marked INTERROGATION CHAMBER 42. He kicks open the door and sees ARI, tied to a chair. Jack opens a switchblade and begins to cut the ropes. guard 5 AUGH! Another guard grabs Jack, and kicks him into the wall. This guard too has a knife, and makes a grab for Jack's gun. Jack kicks the gun away. jack Never bring a gun to a knife fight! Jack swipes the blade towards him, and the guard has to duck out of the way. Jack kicks the guard, and punches him in the face. The guard swings his blade wildly and Jack jumps out of the way, and also swipes his blade at the guard's hand. He cuts the guard's hand badly. GUARD 5 FUCK! Jack stabs with the knife, hitting the cloth of the Guard's jacket. GUARD 5 Ha! The guard swipes at Jack's face, cutting him on the cheek. JACK AUGH! Jack punches the Guard. Ari watches this, her life practically riding on the outcome. CUT TO: Main Hall. Scott and his remaining guards run up the stairs. CUT TO: Interrogation Room. Jack punches the guard, kicks him, and finally STABS him. The guard collapses. ARI Get me out of this! JACK Uh... Jack pulls out the bloody switchblade. ARI Just use the other guy's knife. Jack picks up the guard's knife, and cuts off Ari's restrainments. He hands her one of his handguns. JACK Let's get the fuck out of here. They run out of the room, immedietly firing and shooting some running guards. JACK This way! He leads her to a stairwell with leads upwards. They get to the top of the stairs, and- GUARD DONT SHOOT Ari shoots the guard. ARI Didn't hear you. Jack runs over to the window. JACK We have to move! They run to the far end of the room, and look back. scott There they are! Scott and his guards run up the staircase- JACK Put your head down! Jack SHOOTS a helium container, which EXPLODES, creating a wall of fire between Jack and Scott. Jack and Ari escape through a door, and Scott and his men are forced to go back down the stairs. Jack runs down a ramp and into the main Hall, shooting at random guards that appear. JACK Fuck this shit! CUT TO: Mansion The flames begin to spread around the house. CUT TO: Main Hall. Jack looks around, and sees the flame. JACK Not good. Jack looks and sees the stairs. JACK Stay here. ARI No! JACK STAY! ARI I'm not a fucking dog! Jack runs up the stairs, only to be met with a gun by Scott. scott All my men are dead, thanks to you, you BITCH! JACK Whoa! Jack punches Scott's hand, and the gun falls away. A piece of wood falls around them, and the fire rises. SCOTT You...really...are..a..pain! Scott punches Jack in the stomach with every word. JACK I know! Jack punches Scott in the crotch,and headbutts him. SCOtt Augh! Jack punches Scott, breaking his nose. SCOTT FUCK! Jack smiles. JACK Like that? Pain like that? Jack knees Scott in the stomach. scott No matter what you do.. you will be hunted down... they will find you. JACK Yeah? They won't find you. WOOSH! The fire springs up around, them, and they are both burning. scott You will never be alone... You will turn your head and always see someone... You will be paranoid... Your life will be my ASS! Jack kicks Scott, who falls back onto the floor, which DISENTEGRATES BELOW HIM. Jack falls with him, and they both fall onto the floor of the Main hall. Jack and Scott lie there, in pain. ARI Hey, Tony. Scott looks up. It's Ari. SCOTT You Bit- Ari SHOOTS Scott in the head, killing him. ARI Don't even say it. Jack looks over, amazed. ARI Let's get the fuck out of here. They run out of the house as the whole thing catches fire. They run onto the front lawn, then look back at it. ARI It's over. It's totally over. JACK Yeah. Ari turns, and kisses Jack on the mouth. JACK Well... ARI I have to leave. I still work for the CIA. JACK ..Leave? Ari turns back. ARI I might see you around. Jack looks back at her and knows that isn't true. JACK Bye. ARI Goodbye, Nathan. Ari turns and walks off, until we cannot see her. Jack watches, then turns back. JACK .CIA... GUARD FUCK YOU! Its the guard with the shrapnel in his eye. He crawls and points a gun at Jack- Jack turns and- BLAM. SMASH TO BLACK. THE END Nathan Jack will return in "The Fighting Irish".
