Effective January 1st, 2008--Movie Reels will be changing its current budget system for "Movie Directors". The current system gives "Movie Directors" $10,000 in budget money/grossings for every movie ticket they sell. This system is blatantly not correct for certain reasons. If a "Movie Director" spends $60,000 in budget money to put together his or her film and another "Movie Director" spends $300,000 in budget money to put together his film--does the system of $10,000 in return for each ticket sale really work? The answer is simple. No, it does not. Because it will take the "Movie Director" with the $60,000 movie only 6 ticket sales to get his money back. On the other hand it will take the "Movie Director" with the $300,000 movies 30 ticket sales to gain what he spent in the beginning. This is why I have devised this new and equal system for all. Beginning on January 1st, 2008--every movie ticket you sell, you will earn 10% of what you spent on the budget of your film. For an example: #Example) A "Movie Director" who spends $60,000 in budget money on his or her film will earn $6,000 per ticket sale. #Example) A "Movie Director" who spends $300,000 in budget money on his or her film will earn $30,000 per ticket sale. -The year of 2008 will also see changes in costs of items, prices for editing and formatting scripts and taxes. Until then--Have a Happy New Year. ~Mr. Vincent

Cool but one prob: WHY!!?!?!?!?!? Editing and Formatting takes a long time. If someone writes a script that is 40 pages long--it will take roughly 2 hours to properly format and edit. As for the tax part--that one is still probable but is the only one not set in stone as of yet. ~Mr. Vincent

Phew....Better put the chisel away.
My budget was $140,500 so 14,050 per ticket?
So 10 tickets and I even out.

Hmm...since there is no cost to make a TV Show, does that mean there can't be any cost for formatting?
