Final Film Rating: 3 out of 4 Stars
Review #1: Here is a film that needed more of the glory. This very well written and acted film was very joyful and found it to be real thrilling and awesome. A very well made plot and great twist with a Kill-Bill like ending makes the sequels even more unwaitable, I loved it and think it deserves a reelie right here!
Review #2: Plot: The way this movie is set up…is just perfect in so many ways. The flashbacks and the interrogations is a great way to do a movie and it was used well here. The interrogation scene has to be one of the most intense scenes I have ever seen/read. No lie. The way they interacted was amazing. Story 2 is about the group of teens. I thought that it was a little confusing with all the different characters. It took me about 2-3 times to read to get the what was going on with everyone. Overall though, what a great plot.
Rating: 4/4
Characters/Acting: Cillian Murphy needs a Reelie. What a performance. He is great in horror/drama movies, and he did not fail here. Paltrow was also very good as the detective. It will be interesting to see whether she comes back for the next film. I think that Murphy and Paltrow blow this movie out of the water in performance. The character development is very good for the most part. I feel like I got to know all the characters well.
Rating: 4/4
Fun/Boring to Watch: Nonstop action is a way to describe Blood Harmony. It is from the opening scene to the very last scene. No breaks in between.
Rating: 4/4
Final Take: Wow….just wow is all I can say. I can’t wait to see the sequel. What an amazing film. Great plot, characters, the whole 9 yards. However, the twist was ruined for me in the opening credits. Can’t wait for part 2.
FINAL RATING: 4/4
