EXT. NEW YORK CITY

Snow falls heavily on NEW YORK CITY's streets.

SONG: "IN BLOOM" - NIRVANA

INT. SUBWAY STATION

MAX PAYNE stands with his back to a wall holding two Desert Eagles.

EFFECT: SLOW MOTION

MAX turns and dives, aiming at a set of stairs. He shoots at two thugs both holding weapons.

ZOOM IN: BULLET

The bullet from one of the guns flies forward and the camera cuts to black before the bullet hits his head.

INT. ELEVATOR

MONA SAX and MAX PAYNE stand holding their guns at each other's heads.

MONA SAX

Relax, Max. You're a nice guy. I don't kill nice guys.

MAX PAYNE

You're not bad yourself.

INT. BASEMENT

FRANKIE NIAGRA stands up infront of MAX who is tied to a chair. He holds a bloody aluminum baseball bat.

FRANKIE NIAGRA

Pleased to meet ya. I'm Frankie "the Bat" Niagara.

CUT TO: He swings the bat at MAX and we cut away before he makes contact.

EXT. ROOFTOP

MAX stands on a rooftop holding his Desert Eagle.

MAX PAYNE (V.O)

Collecting evidence had gotten old a few hundred bullets back.

MAX looks at the train in front of him and he jumps on it holding onto the edge.

FADE OUT

SUPERIMPOSED: MAX PAYNE

I am interested only because I used to like the game. I am wondering how you adapted it.
