Though it may amount to typical super hero fare, we've had luck with our super hero films so far this year. This one though, seems harder to make work, at least made to work on the level of Life of Superman or the X-Men film.

I agree that the Punisher is a harder superhero to write a movie about, as it is difficult to try and sympathize with someone who has no qualms about executing people in cold blood. I am working hard to try and make that work in my version.

If you are working hard, good things are almost bound to come out. Even if it is only a few good things, at least its something.
