In the vain of other reimagined and updated classics such as Rob Zombie's Halloween, Tim Burton's Batman, Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes, Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, comes a remake for all time...
Back to the Future
In the year 2015 Marty "M.C. Fly" McFly, a streetwise, inner city, gangsta rappin' youth, gets a ride in D.B.'s (Doc Brown's) time machine, a tricked out Ford Explorer with spinnin' rims and hydrolics. He gets sent back 30 years to the year 1985, unfortunately, the car's power source, Red Bull Energy Drink, has not been invented yet, and must find another source able to generate the 1.21 "niggawatts" (as the young aspiring rap star calls it) of power. Along the way he alters history when he gets into hijinks such as accidentally preventing his momma from meeting her baby daddy, and inspiring a musician named Marvin Shakur to help his cousin find that new sound he's been looking for.

Being a huge fan of the original trilogy, I must say I am unamused.

Really? Is my remaining reputation here so low that people actually thought I was serious? I just watched the trilogy yesterday and my friends and I got to talking about how a movie like this will probably come out in the next few years, so I thought I'd post it here.
That said, assuming a remake ever were made, I think it would be pretty cool to have the movie come out in 2015 and take place (mostly) in 1985. Of course, the originals hold up amazingly well 20-25 years later, so I'm not exactly promoting a remake.
Since my RL friends got a good laugh at this, I was thinkng about actually writing this as a comedic satire of modern pop culture (and how much it sucks compared to 1985), using the Back to the Future plot as a background to set up the comparisons, but you guys don't sound too receptive to what I thought was a pretty clever idea for a parody. Ah well, at least I got a few laughs.

That last part got me chuckling.

I laughed a lot, but I think it's funniest as a plot summary like that, rather than a full script.

And the title would clearly be Black to the Future.

And the title would clearly be Black to the Future. I believe we've actually had a show by that title here in the US. It had nothing to do with the time travelling trilogy, but I believe it was a VH1 show during Black History month.

It was the most entertaining four hours of black history that I've ever spent.

"Marvin Shakur to help his cousin find that new sound he's been looking for."
You also ruined probably one of the best jokes you had, that would've better as an in the moment joke.
