THA-THUMP! THA-THUMP! THA-THUMP! Over black screen all we hear is an overpowering, echoing heartbeat. Suddenly, the heartbeats stop and we hear nothing but heavy breathing. VOICE (V.O.) Why can't you hear that? MUSIC UP: AS TALL AS LIONS - "GHOST OF YORK" (CLICK LINK)The logo for Summit Entertainment flashes across the screen. Inspired by 19th century short-story "THE TELL-TALE HEART"A man sits at his desk. The study is extremely dark, with only a small desk light providing any sort of vision. Pills are scattered all over the desk and it seems as if the man is sorting them into groups. Close-up of pale blue eyes. They flicker slightly as the camera holds. Written and Directed by Tom MacdonaldAn abundance of quick images wipe across the screen. * Laying in bed, the man we saw earlier looks down to see a mysterious figure with snow white hair under the covers with him. * Standing outside, the man throws a large rock at a second-story window. * Atop creaking floorboards, the man jumps up and down, causing the boards to begin to crack and crumble. * An extreme close-up of a large butcher's knife, smeared in blood. CUT TO BLACK. VOICE (V.O.) Shhhhh... THA-THUMP! THA-THUMP! THA-THUMP! COMING SOON

I studied the story last year, so it'll be interesting to see what you bring to it in a film version.

Oh yes. Awesome teaser, man. The Tell-Tale Heart was easilly my favorite short story from Poe. It'll be interesting to see how to make this into a film. Can't wait for further details.
