First of all, credit to Xplay and all the editing/hard work he put into this short film, but it certainly wasn't the best I've seen.
I thought the plot was weak, and all I could think was "someone give this guy a god damn coke!"
even though I know you were referring to cocaine.
I wasn't sure what genre it is, but I kinda found it comedy/action?
The knife fight was funny, but also dangerous - DO NOT PLAY WITH KNIVES.
The ending was extremely amusing with the usage of someone else being thrown off somewhere, dunno what film its out of, but it was just silly cause that clip was at night, then it went back to the day etc.
anyways, some excellent song choices, the film was decent, I liked it, but I'm not sure if I liked it for the wrong reasons.
But still, very good camera work etc,
6.5/10

Thanks for the review, glad you liked it to some extent. Brawl never had a "genre". I've watched it with people who laughed throughout and some who never laughed at all. For the film where the fall was taken from, sit through the credits. Thanks again.

Oh sorry, I never read the credits, ever, I figured I wouldn't need to, but I will do.
I'm not saying it was rubbish, it was good, the acting was decent enough, just y'know, it amused me, but wasn't sure if it was supposed to amuse me.

It was meant to be amusing and nothing more, hence the simple plot composed for a reason to have two dudes fight. The mismatched fall is meant to be silly fyi.

I was just making sure it was meant to be amusing, cause I found it amusing, it'd suck if you were trying to be serious and everyone just thought it was funny.

Yeah. At least it didn't feature a emo gal running around, having awkard sex and spouting bad dialog.
