A remake of my first ever posted work on Movie Reels, The Second City will be made into a series following a group of strangers who wake up in the middle of a destroyed downtown Chicago. Who are they? They have no clue, actually, though most of them gradually gain memories and begin to remember who they are. This character-driven action/drama series will explore what has happened to leave the world in this condition, and whether these strangers are truly alone or not.
More information and a pilot coming soon.

IT ISNT LIKE LOST AT ALL YOU COCKS
It isn't as mythology-driven, though there is the overarching mystery of what the fuck happened to the world and why they are the only ones in the city.

IT ISNT LIKE LOST AT ALL YOU COCKS It isn't as mythology-driven, Neither was LOST to begin with. though there is the overarching mystery of what the fuck happened to the world As opposed to an overarching mystery of what the fuck the island is? and why they are the only ones in the city. Oh, like figuring out why/how they ended up on the Island in the first place. Gotcha.

If we're getting into personal insults now... which should I choose from? Your shameless ripoff of 12 Angry Men? Or your shameless ripoff and complete failure called "The Impossible Campaign"? And in case you noticed, I only said one of my action movies was actually good. It also happens to be the only 1 of 2 action movies I've released. The other I conceded at the time it wasn't very good.

lol Why are we arguing over this? If it is similar to LOST I don't see that being a bad thing...considering how insanely awesome LOST is. And if it isn't at all similar to LOST then this is pointless.
Either way, no reason to argue. 90% of good TV shows have mythology (X-Files, LOST, Fringe), they have a mystery surrounding whatever "jam" the characters are in (Jericho, LOST, 24, etc. etc.). It's basic elements of drama used over and over again in different ways to create intriguing plots and complex and unique situations. IF anything I think this sounds more like Jericho than LOST....but who cares, really?
I think the plot sounds good and I remember a trailer to this (maybe as a film) at the Reelies last year, one of high points of the night IMO. I'll def. read it.
And welcome back Legend.

Oh, like figuring out why/how they ended up on the Island in the first place. Gotcha. So it's a ripoff because it doesn't have the mythology Lost now has, because there's an overarching mystery, and the main characters are trying to figure out their predicament? 90% of serialised fiction has an overarching mystery, Indy. Desperate Housewives has an overarching mystery. If you're going to make links such tenuous links, you could say Snakes on a Plane is a ripoff of Citizen Kane. Both main characters have problems they have to deal with, right? RIPOFF. Anyway... Looking forward to this Legs. As I've never watched Lost, even if there are similarities they'll be... lost on me.
