That's right -- all Movie Reels Films & Awards Ceremonies have been 'officially' signed to go onto DVD. The first 'official' DVD is currently in the works and that movie is 'Dryerman' -- originally filmed & broadcasted at the 1st Annual Reelies. The DVD will include: 'Dryerman' in its entirety Custom 'Dryerman' DVD Case Custom DVD Artwork Interactive Menus for easy access EXCLUSIVE SPECIAL FEATURES- Interview with Xplayadam - Xplayadam dances to 'Dancing Queen'  Interactive Menu [Page 1] Interactive Menu [Page 2] DVD Disc ArtDVD Cover Art [COMING SOON]Because of the work involved & the cost involved in purchasing the programs & DVD's and the cost of gas -- All Movie Reels DVD's are $6.00 Shipped. All proceeds will go to maintaining ad-free boards. $1.00 from every sale will go to the director who made the film. ~Mr. Vincent |

a lovely idea.
i'd love to see some of the written stuff put on (maybe not dvd) but cd. maybe with some deleted scenes, written or recorded interviews, and maybe even a version of the script with anotations and notes - like a director's commentary.

Awesome. I'll defenitley have to do some kind of interview/special feature. I doubt anyone will buy it but it sounds good. Question: do I get a free copy?

I may lower the price from $6 to something else. I honestly don't want members to pay but this takes a good amount of my time to put together -- nevermind the materials. Sorry for not presenting anything today -- the DVDs I bought did not work with the burn so I'm going to buy different ones tomorrow. Hopefully they'll work. ~Mr. Vincent |

I think I know what Daz is talking about, but not positive. Audiobooks would be pretty sweet, although like the DVD, they would take a lot of time. It would also be cool to have a certain member read some work if they so choose or something. Not exactly how it would work, but it would be cool to see.
