FULL MOVIE: (Part 1)
The Punisher

FADE IN: DOCK- MORNING
It’s misty and grey. On a small side street next to the
ocean, a small car sits parked. "42" by Coldplay plays
loudly through the window.
RAY and THOMAS sit in the car. Thomas sings along loudly.
RAY
Shut the hell up!
THOMAS
heyheyhey, I’m allowed to sing.
EXT. CAR.
Another car, an expensive-looking BWM pulls up. The
driver’s side door opens and a figure steps out.
INT. CAR.
RAY
C’mon. He’s here. Let’s go.
They step outside of the car.
The figure stands by his car, and watches as Ray and Thomas
climb out.
THOMAS
Hey. How ya doin’?
FIGURE
Do you have it?
THOMAS
Sure do.
Thomas runs around and grabs some large suitcases out of the
back.
He lays them on the ground in front of his car to reveal...
GUNS. Ray walks around to them.
RAY
4 desert eagles, 2 uzi’s, a
silences submachine gun....
Ray turns to look at the figure.
RAY
(continued)
And a shotgun. All clean, no serial
numbers.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 2.
The figure begins to walk forward.
FIGURE
They loaded?
RAY
One clip in each. After that, you
have to supply it.
The figure leans down to grab one of the guns-
THOMAS
Whoa- no way, buddy. No handling
until we get the dough.
The figure reaches into his pocket and pulls out a stack of
money. He hands it to ray.
FIGURE
Ever worked for Ma Gnucci?
They freeze.
THOMAS
Why?
FIGURE
I was offered employment.
Thomas eases up a bit.
THOMAS
Yeah, I do a few odd jobs for her
every once and a while.
FIGURE
Killing?
THOMAS
Once or twice.
RAY
Shut the f*ck up, Thomas, he could
be a cop!
The figure walks into the frame to reveal FRANK CASTLE,
early to mid thirties, black hair, plenty of stubble.
FRANK
Worse.
Frank dives into Thomas, grabbing his sidearm. Frank shoots
Ray, who’s shirt goes red as he falls over the railing and
into the water.

CONTINUED: 3.
Frank flips Thomas over his shoulder, and points his own gun
at him.
THOMAS
Wait! I don’t know anything!
Frank grimaces.
FRANK
Think of this as punishment.
He PULLS THE TRIGGER.
SMASH TO BLACK.
THE PUNISHER.
FADE IN: A Highway- DAY.
A cop cruiser drives down the highway, behind a red
Lamborghini. He flips on the siren.
The Lamborghini pulls over followed by the cop car.
DET JEFFERY SNOW steps out of the car and walks over to the
Lamborghini.
We watch as a BWM pulls up behind them quietly. Snow doesn’t
notice.
Snow walks to the window. DANIEL, bald, early 30s, and
tattooed, sits behind the wheel.
SNOW
Can I see some license and
registration?
Daniel hands Snow his wallet. Snow looks inside and finds a
hefty group of dollar bills. He smiles. He hands the
now-empty wallet back to Daniel.
SNOW
Thank you, sir. Give my regards to
Ma Gnucci.
He begins to walk back, and Daniel speeds away. Snow stops
dead, and notices FRANK, now watching him.
SNOW
Who the hell are you?
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 4.
FRANK
Where’s Gnucci?
Snow slowly puts his right hand on the holster.
SNOW
Don’t know.
BAM! Frank shoots him dead.
CUT TO: A Seedy Apartment- Night.
Daniel sits on his couch, snorting cocaine. He breaths out,
and scratches his face. A large stockpile of packs of
cocaine lies in a bucket by the couch. As he prepares for
another snort-
The door BURSTS open. Light streams in, hitting Daniel like
a punch to the face. Daniel immediately sits back in the
couch and puts his hands up defensively.
DANIEL
Hey, man! Don’t arrest me!
Frank walks into the room and closes the door.
DANIEL
Who the hell are you?
FRANK
I thought that since your friend
Snow didn’t know anything....
Daniel’s eyes widen.
FRANK
Maybe you could give me something.
DANIEL
Are you police? What?
FRANK
I am the punisher. Your punisher,
Daniel.
DANIEL
(sarcastically)
Yeah. Right.
In a split second, Frank jumps forward and wraps his hands
around Daniel’s throat, and pushes him against the wall.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 5.
DANIEL
Ah!
FRANK
Where’s Ma Gnucci?
DANIEL
What!? I don’t know!!!
FRANK
You run payoffs for her, you
transport her drugs, and you don’t
know how to find her?!
DANIEL
Just let me go!!!
Frank drops Daniel onto the couch.
DANIEL
Thank you.
Frank picks up a pack of cocaine.
DANIEL
Hey man, don’t touch that. That’s
my shit.
FRANK
Nice coke.
DANIEL
What, you want some?
Frank slits open one of the packs with his knife.
FRANK
Do you?
Frank SHOVES the pack of cocaine into the face of Daniel,
covering his mouth and nose. Daniel’s limbs spasm, his arms
reaching for Frank’s face in a desperate attempt to survive.
FRANK
Give my regards to Ma.
Suddenly, Daniel’s eyes run up into his head, and he flops
over, covered in cocaine.
Frank looks at the body for a moment, then walks out of the
room.
FADE OUT.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 6.
FADE IN: CENTRAL PARK- DAY.
Frank is happy, playing catch with his son Adam, as his wife
Annie looks on.
CUT TO:
Frank, decked out in black, his hands still covered with
cocaine, walks down a side street, gun in hand.
CUT TO: CENTRAL PARK.
Frank turns and sees a mob of people gathered around a tree,
where a man is being hung. The man is already dead, a
gunshot to the chest. Frank looks and turns back to his
family.
He mouths one word: RUN!
CUT TO: ALLEY
Frank walks to a dumpster and he throws away the pack of
cocaine, and sits down next to it, breathing heavily.
CUT TO: CENTRAL PARK.
Bruno, a muscular bald man with a machine gun runs toward
Frank. Frank hurries his family away, as Bruno shoots his
gun....
CUT TO: Alley
Slowly, Frank begins to reload his gun....
CUT TO: CENTRAL PARK
The bullets slam into Frank, going through his body....
CUT TO: Alley
Frank slides another magazine into the pistol.
CUT TO: CENTRAL PARK.
Frank collapses, and Bruno runs back toward the group.
CUT TO: Alley.
Frank looks at his gun as he flips the safety OFF.
CUT TO: Central Park.
Frank, badly wounded, looks up... and sees Annie and Adam
riddled with the bullets that passed through him.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 7.
He SCREAMS.
CUT TO: Alley
Frank quietly cocks the gun as he stands up and walks out of
the alley.
FADE OUT.
FADE IN: HARBOR- NIGHT.
A group of workers are gathered around a pile of wooden crates.
JEREMY, a muscular man in a suit and sunglasses, watches.
A limo pulls up. Jeremy watches as MA GNUCCI, a 60-something crime boss, steps out of the car.
JEREMY
Ma Gnucci. Good to see you.
MA GNUCCI
Good to see you too, Jeremy.
JEREMY
I have your merchandise.
MA GNUCCI
Good.
JEREMY
And you have my money?
Jeremy watches from the corners of his eyes as Ma Gnucci's guards begin to circle the group.
JEREMY
Well?
MA GNUCCI
Of course.
She motions to one of her guards.
MA GNUCCI
You... neglected to mention last time we met that you had a mole in your group.
JEREMY
I thought you took care of him. The central park job?
MA GNUCCI
It was ugly. There was some... collateral damage.
JEREMY
Oh.
The two sides look at each other's group.
Suddenly, Ma Gnucci brings up her gun from her hand and shoots Jeremy point-blank in the head.
Her bodyguards turn on the group and shoot them all with uzis.
MA GNUCCI
Get the merchandise in the truck and get out of here!
The guards begin to do so.
FADE IN: Hotel Room- DAY.
Frank walks into the room and sits on the couch. He wears a
long leather coat, and carries a suitcase.
CUT TO: EXT. OFFICE BUILDING- DAY.
Bobby Gnucci walks out of his car and toward the office
building.
INT. OFFICE BUILDING.
He walks into the lobby. EDDIE GNUCCI, his brother, runs
over to him.
EDDIE
Bobby! Now this is a special
occasion. How often does Ma’s right
hand man come and visit his bros
over at command central?
BOBBY
Ma just wanted to see how things we
doing.
They hug warmly.
EDDIE
Everything’s just peachy.
CUT TO: HOTEL ROOM.
Frank opens the suitcase and pulls out the submachine gun.
He lays it on the coffee table.
CUT TO: Office Building.
Carlo Gnucci, the youngest brother, runs over to Bobby.
BOBBY
Hey, Carlo.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 8.
CARLO
Bobby! Haven’t seen you in ages.
CUT TO: HOTEL ROOM.
Frank pulls out his two handguns and puts them in his two
shoulder holsters.
CUT TO: OFFICE BUILDING.
BOBBY
Actually, I left Ma’s package in
the car.
CARLO
Oh, I’ll go get it.
EDDIE
Good. Bobby, I’ll show you
around...
CUT TO: HOTEL ROOM.
Frank sticks the submachine gun into the open window, and
attaches a sniper scope.
CUT TO: EXT. OFFICE BUILDING.
Carlo walks outside and puts his hand on the car....
RATATAT!
Carlo collapses, 3 bullet holes in his chest.
Inside the office building, Bobby and Eddie turn around.
BOBBY
Oh my god!!!
They are both horrified.
Suddenly, bullets slam into the building, hitting and
shattering glass and wood everywhere.
EDDIE
Get down!
Eddie pushes himself and Bobby behind a concrete wall.
CUT TO: HOTEL ROOM.
Frank looks up from his now-smoking gun. He turns to his bed
and grabs a Gatling Gun. He fires.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 9.
CUT TO: OFFICE BUILDING.
EDDIE
We keep all out guns on the second
floor.
BOBBY
We should go, then!
Suddenly, FRANK flies through the window, sliding on a
wire. He gets up and pulls out his two guns. He quickly
shoots two guards who try and rush toward him.
EDDIE
Who the f*ck is that?!
Eddie turns to his guards.
EDDIE
Go kill him! Go!
Frank turns toward them and throws off his leather jacket,
revealing a kevlar vest over a long-sleeved shirt. The vest
is painted with the familiar long Skull logo.
Several guards pull out their machine guns. Frank fires with
his pistols, striking several guards, who’s machine guns
fire wildly as they collapse to the ground. Another guard
fires, and Frank runs for cover, still shooting, one gun in
each hand. Frank dives behind the front desk, and shoots the
guard in the leg.
GUARD
Ah!
As the guard doubles over, Frank shoots him in the head.
CUT TO: Armory.
Bobby and Eddie walk in, sweating and obviously nervous.
Eddie picks up a shotgun and tosses one to Bobby.
BOBBY
What do we do?
DAVID
We’re gonna kill this sonofabitch.
CUT TO: LOBBY.
A guard sneaks behind Frank and raises his gun. Frank
notices and grabs the gun, elbowing the man in the face,
then grabs the man’s head and CRACK he breaks his neck.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 10.
BLAM! BLAM!
Guards begin shooting at Frank, hitting the dead body of the
guard instead. Frank uses the corpse as a shield as he runs
through the lobby. He manages to shoot and kill a few guards
as he runs by.
He runs by the elevator and a guard at the elevator grabs
him by his neck and drags him in.
The doors close.
INT. ELEVATOR.
Frank head-buts the elevator guard in the head, and throws
him into the window of the elevator, which cracks. He
punches him multiple times.
ELEVATOR GUARD
Ack! Ah!
The elevator doors open, and Frank grabs the Elevator
guard’s shotgun and pushes him into the door of the
elevator. The doors close on the guard’s body, and the
elevator begins to move downwards.
ELEVATOR GUARD
AAAAH!
SQUISH.
Frank runs through the third story, avoiding the fire from
the remaining guards. A guard appears at the end of the
floor, and Frank shoots him with the shotgun. The guard is
hit and flies through the window, down the building, finally
landing on a car. Frank fires two more times, both times
hitting their targets dead-on.
Silence. Frank stands up.
BOOM!
Frank is shot in the shoulder and sees Eddie and Bobby
running toward him. Frank tries his shotgun, but it is out
of ammo. He rolls over toward the dead guards and picks up
their machine gun.
Eddie cocks his gun and he turns the corner... and is SHOT
multiple times by Frank. Bobby sees this and dives for
cover.
Frank stands up, holding his bullet wound his shoulder.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 11.
FRANK
Let Ma Gnucci know. The Punisher is
here.
Frank walks to the elevator and the doors CLOSE.
CUT TO: APARTMENT- NIGHT.
Sam sits in his kitchen, eating a microwavable
mac-and-cheese dinner. The doorbell rings.
Sam opens the door to reveal... A BLEEDING FRANK.
SAM
Frank! What are you doing here?
Frank stumbles into the apartment.
SAM
Are you hurt?
FRANK
Yes.
CUT TO: BATHROOM.
Frank sits as he applies gauze to his shoulder wound.
SAM
What did you do?
FRANK
One of the Gnucci boys got me in
the shoulder.
SAM
Gnucci?
Frank pulls the bandage tighter and he grunts.
SAM
Frank, the police said they did
everything possible.
FRANK
Bullshit.
SAM
Frank...
FRANK
The police are on the take.
Corrupted. You can’t trust the
authority.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 12.
SAM
Then what? Allow the world to slip
into anarchy?
FRANK
Someone has to punish those who
deserve it.
SAM
At what cost?
Frank stands up.
SAM
I want revenge as much as you do,
Frank. She was my sister. And he
was my nephew. But I don’t kill
people in cold blood.
FRANK
I don’t like what I’ve become, but
I have no choice. The events are in
motion. I need to make make name
known in this city. Evil cannot
just pay the police and get
off. They have to deal with me.
SAM
Frank, you’re hurt, and you don’t
really know what you’re saying.
You’re throwing away your life.
Frank looks at Sam, the most serious we’ve ever seen him.
FRANK
This is my life. Frank Castle is
dead. The Punisher lives.
Frank walks past Sam and back out of the apartment.

FULL MOVIE (Part 2)
MA GNUCCI
Yes, what is it, Bobby?
BOBBY
I’m afraid I have bad news. Someone
attacked while I was down at the
downtown office. Carlo and Eddie
are dead.
Ma Gnucci sits up. A tear rolls down her face, which she
quickly wipes away.
BOBBY
He killed them, plus tons of our
guards.
MA GNUCCI
Snow and Daniel were killed a few
days ago.
BOBBY
I think you should evacuate,
mother.
MA GNUCCI
No. I will not. Did you get a
picture of this man?
Bobby holds up his cell phone.
BOBBY
Here.
Ma Gnucci looks at a slightly blurry picture of Frank.
MA GNUCCI
Oh my god. That’s Frank Castle.
BOBBY
Who?
MA GNUCCI
He’s a former FBI agent. We killed
him a few months ago after he
trespassed on the Anderson job. His
family was caught in the crossfire.
BOBBY
What?
MA GNUCCI
Bruno is in danger. Send him away.
Tell him to pack his bags and head
down to Florida for the next month.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 14.
BOBBY
Okay.
Bobby begins to walk out of the room.
MA GNUCCI
Oh, and Bobby? Is that your blood
on your shoulder?
BOBBY
No.
MA GNUCCI
Oh, okay then.
Bobby and Guard #1 walks out of the room, leaving Guard #2.
MA GNUCCI
Didn’t I ask you to keep watch on
the safe house.
GUARD #2
Yes, Ms. Gnucci.
Ma gets up and stabs the man in the stomach with a long
knife.
GUARD #2
No!
MA GNUCCI
Think of this as.... punishment.
Ma pulls the knife out and throws it on the floor. She kicks
him in the head, and he falls over.
She picks up a gun.
MA GNUCCI
I am going to shoot you in the
throat. It’s long and painful, and
the most fatal of all places to be
shot. You will not only bleed, but
also suffocate because your pipes
are cut off. If I shoot here...
She points to a point in the man’s neck..
MA GNUCCI
You suffocate. Die quicker.
She moves it a few inches to the left.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 15.
MA GNUCCI
If I shoot here, I clip an artery,
causing you massive pain and
killing you very slowly.
Possibly treatable, with help.
GUARD #2
No...no... please!
She moves the gun to the part where he would bleed to death.
She SHOOTS.
The blood begins to seep out, gushing.
MA GNUCCI
Have fun.
She walks out of the room, locking it. She smiles.
CUT TO: BEACH HOUSE- FLORIDA- NIGHT.
Bruno, Harry, and Vinny are sitting on a couch, watching a
football game.
VINNY
Hey Bruno, when does Ma actually
want us to do anything?
BRUNO
I don’t know. I think she thought
we were in danger.
They laugh.
Suddenly, the TV flickers off.
HARRY
Hey, what happened?
The lights shut off, followed by all the electricity,
including the phones and the fans.
HARRY
Is this a blackout?
VINNY
It’s sure black.
It’s pitch black.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 16.
VINNY
I’m gonna go get a candle.
Vinny gets up and walks into the hallway.
BLAM! BLAM! Vinny collapses, bullet holes in his head.
HARRY
Oh shit!
BRUNO
Get our guns! Get our guns!
Bruno and Harry get up and run into the next room. They kick
open the door, now in another hallway.
BRUNO
You go that way, I’ll go this way.
My gun’s in the other room.
HARRY
Okay, go.
They split up.
HARRYS POV- We follow Harry as he scavenges through his
stuff in the room, gives up, moves out into the hallway, and
towards the next room.
CUT TO: Hallway.
We hear a footstep. Harry stands paralyzed. He glances
around.
CUT TO: HARRYS POV: Harry moves around in a circle, until HE
SEES FRANK as he passes by and we see quickly as Frank
shoots the gun.
CUT TO: HALLWAY.
Harry collapses, dead. Frank walks away. 2 down, 1 to go.
CUT TO: BRUNOS POV.
He is running through the kitchen, out the back door and
finally into the outside.
CUT TO: HOUSE
Frank follows Bruno’s movements, and heads outside. He STOPS
as he sees Bruno’s body, kneeling, a knife pertruding from
his stomach. Bruno falls over, dead.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 17.
Frank stops and looks around. Who did this? He reloads his
gun, and heads back into the house as we...
SMASH TO BLACK.
CUT TO: PAWN SHOP- NIGHT.
Linus is just closing up for the night. He shuts the windows, locks the cabinets,
and prepares to shut the door as-
FRANK walks in.
LINUS
Who are you?
FRANK
I need explosives.
LINUS (begins to shut door)
Sorry, buddy, I don't do explosives.
Frank lifts up his gun.
FRANK
Yes you do.
CUT TO: Basement.
Frank and Linus climb down the stairs. Linus flips on the light, revealing that
the entire basement is piled high with weapons and explosives.
FRANK
Doing a little extra-curricular pawning, Linus?
LINUS
What do you want, Mr. Unnamed Gunman?
Frank inspects the place.
FRANK
I want two sections of C4, rigged with a remote detonator.
Linus shuffles his feet.
LINUS
Well, that's hard to come by. Why don't you place an order and come back in a week?
Frank points his gun at Linus.
FRANK
How about not?
LINUS (quietly)
Fine with me.
Linus scurries off to find the c4.
CUT TO: ROOFTOP- NIGHT.
Frank stands on the rooftop of an abandoned apartment
building, watching below him Central Park- the exact spot
where he and his family were shot.
CUT TO: Ma Gnucci’s bedroom.
She is lying in bed when she gets a phone call.
MA GNUCCI
Hello?
Beat.
MA GNUCCI
He’s where?
CUT TO: ROOFTOP- NIGHT.
Frank watches the park in the nighttime, as flashbacks of
his son and wife intercut between shots of him on the
rooftop.
CUT TO: Outside the Building- NIGHT
Ma Gnucci, dressed in all-black attire, directs a truckload
of her guards into the building.
CUT TO: Frank continues watching the park, apparently
oblivious to the guards beginning to empty out onto the
rooftop.
We see behind him as the guards stand on the other side of
the rooftop, awaiting Ma Gnucci’s instructions.
Ma gets up and looks over at Frank. She smiles.
MA GNUCCI
Shoot him.
CUT TO: Frank.
We watch as he raises his hands and pushes a button on a
small black box.
BOOM! A box behind the guards EXPLODES! Guards are sent
flying everywhere, and Ma Gnucci is catapulted into a wall.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 18.
Frank springs into action, grabbing one of the unhurt
guards, grabbing his machine gun and then throwing him off
the roof.
GUARD
Aaaaaah!
Frank turns and shoots at the remaining unhurt guards, and
they collapse with blood beginning to spread like a pool on
the rooftop.
More guards, having heard the commotion, begin running up
the stairs. Frank shoots down the stairs, hitting the front
ones, who fall back and create a clog in the stairs. Frank
jumps on the group of guards, and shoots any remaining alive
guards. He jumps past them and into the building.
Frank runs through the floor of the building, as fire from
the outside guards hit the walls around him.
Frank raises his machine gun and sprays a clip into the
Guards’s truck, which EXPLODES in the air, landing on the
building’s windows, and the fire begins to spread. Frank
grabs a grenade and throws it toward the burning truck.
Frank quickly runs back up the stairs as the bottom floor
BLOWS UP, barely missing incinerating Frank. Frank reaces
the roof and jumps off just as the entire building bursts
into flame.
Frank falls and lands hard in a dumpster. He gets up and
falls back onto the pavement.
CUT TO: Ma Gnucci’s bedroom- NIGHT.
Ma opens her eyes, and we see scars around the corners of
her face.
Her EYES go WIDE.
The covers slip away, revealing that she has no arms or
legs. They were lost in the explosion.
CUT TO: EXT. BUILDING.
MA SCREAMS.
CUT TO: Frank sits in a darkened room, silent.
CUT TO: Ma Gnucci’s bedroom- night.
Three men enter her room.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 19.
MAN 1
He is unavailable.
MA GNUCCI
What do you mean?
MAN 1
The man you requested, The Russian,
is unavailable.
MA GNUCCI
NO! Unacceptable! You must get him!
MAN 1
I can’t.
Ma sits up.
MA GNUCCI
Don’t disobey me.
She turns to Man 2.
MA GNUCCI
Shoot him!
MAN 2
What?
Man 1 looks over, sweating.
MAN 1
What?
MA GNUCCI
He refuses to follow my orders!
MAN 2
I won’t shoot him!
MA GNUCCI
Do it! NOW!
Man 3 turns and looks at Man 1 and 2, who both whip out
their guns and point it at each other.
MA GNUCCI
Shoot him!
She looks at Man 3
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 20.
MAN 3
No...
MAN GNUCCI
Shoot both of them!
MAN 3
I can’t!
MA GNUCCI
DO IT!
MAN 2
Don’t do anything!
Man 3 raises his gun and shoots Man 1 and 2 in their chests.
The two fall over.
MA GNUCCI
Good.
Man 2 raises his gun and shoots Man 3 point blank in the
head before collapsing himself.
Ma Gnucci looks at the rapidly spreading pool of blood with
detatched apathy.
MA GNUCCI
They lay dead at my feet.
Ma Gnucci moves and reveals her stumps for arms and legs.
MA GNUCCI
Castle....
CUT TO: Frank in the darkened room.
We twirl around him to reveal that he is sitting in a
church, darkened by the night, candles flickering in front
of him.
A family of four, two parents, a 3-year old daughter, and a
7- year old son, walk by, giggling by themselves.
Frank notices this.
CUT TO: CHURCH FLOOR- NIGHT.
We see two pairs of giant shoes walk into frame. We follow
them until he reaches the row where Frank is sitting.

CONTINUED: 21.
VOICE
Frank Castle.
CUT TO: CHURCH.
We pan to reveal.... BARRACUDA. A huge goliath of a man,
dressed in a large white suit, and smiling broadly.
BARRACUDA
Hi.
Frank gets up and runs down the aisle. Behind him, the
Barracuda brings up a huge revolver from inside his jacket.
He points it at Frank.
BARRACUDA
Oh well. Goodbye Frank.
Frank is running until he sees- at the end of the aisle- the
little 7-year-old boy. Frank stops and turns back toward
Barracuda.
BLAM! Frank is shot, and he falls over. Barracuda begins to
move toward him.
Frank props himself up and grabs the boy.
FRANK
Get out of here. GO!
The boy runs far away, out of the church.
BARRACUDA
Oh, how nice. The Punisher has a
heart of gold.
Frank rolls, grabs a knife from his ankle holster, and
throws it at Barracuda.
The knife, in slow motion, slices off his pinky and ring
finger.
Barracuda grabs his hand, and groans a tiny bit. A moment
later his face contorts again into the wide smile, and he
begins to laugh.
Frank watches in horror.
BARRACUDA
Nice throw, Franky boy.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 22.
The Barracuda unloads bullets down into the front of the
church with this unhurt hand, hitting wooden crosses which
explode in a flash. Frank crawls outside into the snow, and
stands up.
Barracuda follows him, only to get A PUNCH IN THE FACE!
Frank follows this up with a kick to the gut.
Barracuda doubles over, slamming his fist into Frank’s
wound.
FRANK
Aaaaah!
Frank falls back, landing among construction equipment.
BARRACUDA
Nice try, Frank.
Frank gets up and knees Barracuda in the face, and pushes
him into a ladder which collapses on top of him.
Barracuda simply gets up and laughs again.
Frank in desperation picks up one thing from the ground.
A CHAINSAW.
He swings it wildly as he turns it on.
BARRACUDA
Whoa, Frank, gotta be careful with
those things.
Barracuda throws his head back and guffaws.
Frank DECAPITATES Barracuda’s still-laughing head, which
falls to the ground in a pool of spreading red snow.
Frank breaths hard as he puts the chainsaw down.
CUT TO: Ma Gnucci’s bedroom- Day.
Ma Gnucci sits in her bed.
BLAM! BLAM! BLAM!
She hears gunshots and sits up awkwardly.
FRANK enters the room, holding a large black bag.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 23.
FRANK
Are you ready?
MA GNUCCI
For what?
FRANK
Punishment.
Frank opens the bag and spills out it’s contents....
BARRACUDA’S HEAD AND LIGHTER FLUID.
MA GNUCCI
Barracuda? You killed him.
FRANK
He was punished.
MA GNUCCI
You son of a bitch.
FRANK
Don’t talk.
Frank takes something out of his pocket. It’s a black box,
similar to the detonator and clicks a button on the side.
He sticks it in Ma Gnucci’s mouth.
FRANK
You let go, you die.
Gnucci squirms, shaking her non-existent limbs.
FRANK
But just to make sure...
Frank takes the string attatched to the detonator and loops
it around the blade of a fan.
He steps back, walking toward the door, and hits the switch
for the fan.
It slowly starts rotating, moving the detonator upwards,
slowly but surely.
FRANK
Goodbye.
CUT TO: OUTSIDE.
Frank walks away from the house. In a boom, it EXPLODES.
SLOW MO: FRANK walks toward us.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 24.
FRANK (VO)
The evil, the corrupt... Cannot
stay unwatched.
The building begins to burst into flames in the aftermath of
the explosion.
FRANK
And they won’t. I will keep watch
over the slums of the city. They
have to deal with me.
He slowly walks forward until all we see is the skull
painted on his bulletproof vest.
FRANK
Not Frank Castle. The Punisher.
SMASH TO BLACK.
